Jez Ratliff is in her second season as a member of the Seminoles’ women’s soccer team. She was an All-ACC Rookie team selection in 2001 when she helped lead Florida State to the ACC Tournament championship game and into the NCAA Tournament.

What do you want to do after you finish school?

Get a job as a financial advisor for a firm and travel the world with Camie Bybee.

What is the one thing people don’t know about you that you would most like them to know?

I speak Spanish fluently.

Who do you admire most in life?

My older brother.

What is the best piece of advice you ever received?

My grandma told me not to get eaten by a shark when I moved from Oklahoma to Florida.

What is your all-time favorite movie and sports movie?

Bring It On and Remember the Titans

Who is your favorite professional athlete?

Roy Williams (Dallas Cowboys)

What is your favorite pig-out food?

Chick-fil-A and Flavor-Ice

What is the strangest thing in your locker and why is it there?

A Blow-Pop just in case I get hungry.

If you could compete in the Olympics in any sport BUT soccer, what would it be?

Track and Field.

Do you prefer to play during the day or at night and why?

Night. You can’t beat playing under the lights and it’s not as hot.

How do you prepare on game day?

I eat. A lot!

If you could change one thing about you, what would it be?

I would think more before I speak.

What game show would you want to be on and why?

‘Family Feud’ because I watch it every night.
