TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – U.S. Soccer announced that Jaelin Howell will replace midfielder Lindsey Horan on the U.S. Women’s National Team training camp roster for their trip to the Netherlands.
Howell attended the USA’s October training camp in her home state of Colorado. She is uncapped and could become the first player born after the 1999 FIFA Women’s World Cup to earn a full National Team cap. Howell earned 29 Under-20 caps and scored two goals.
She helped lead the Seminoles to their seventh ACC Tournament Championship last week, scoring two goals and recording an assist in three games. Howell was named to the ACC All-Tournament Team for her performance.
She finished the 2020 season with 10 points on four goals and two assists. Howell was named the ACC’s Midfielder of the Year and was named to the All-ACC First Team for the second straight season.
