TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (seminoles.com) – Florida State will face Siena of the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference in the opening round of the ESPN Events Invitational on November 24 at 11 a.m. at the State Farm Field House at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex. The Seminoles will then face either Old Miss or Stanford in the second round of the event on November 25. The championship and final rounds of the event will be played on November 27.
The Seminoles lead the all-time series against the Saints by a 1-0 margin as they gained an 89-80 win at the Preseason NIT at the Tallahassee Leon County Civic Center in Nov 18, 1992.
Florida State will play the event for the third time, after defeating Marquette to win the championship in 2009 and falling to Villanova in the championship game in 2018.
Ticket information and travel packages will be announced later this summer. Fans of each of the eight teams can sign up on the event website for a pre-sale to guarantee first access and a $10 discount on all price levels. Travel packages, which include a discounted rate at the Gaylord Palms Resort as well as transportation to and from the arena, will soon be available from Anthony Travel.
