The senior from Fort Myers, Fla. is majoring in Biology and currently holds a 3.85 GPA. The CCSA All-Academic section marks Jerger’s seventh academic award in her four years at Florida State. She took home CCSA Scholar-Athlete of the year the last three years (2017-19) and was named to the ACC Academic Honor Roll for three years (2016-18) to go along with her CCSA Academic Honor Roll honor in 2016.

Jerger has not only led the Seminoles in the classroom, but she has also led the Noles in the Sand. Jerger is second on the team in wins with 22 wins in 26 matches. She is 2-0 on court four and 20-4 on court five. Alongside freshman Kate Privett, Jerger is 11-1 with all but four of their wins coming in straight sets.

In order to be eligible for consideration on the CCSA All-Academic team, a student-athlete must have a cumulative 3.3 GPA (either during her undergraduate or graduate studies) and have one year of residence at the institution.

Jerger and the rest of the Seminole beach volleyball team will head to Emerson, Ga., this weekend for the CCSA Conference Championship. The top-seeded Noles will open competition against Southern Miss on Friday at 9 a.m. at the Lakepoint Sporting Community.
