TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (seminoles.com) –
Celebrate finishing your taxes and the success of the 2012-13 Florida State men’s basketball team at the Seminoles’ annual Awards Banquet on April 15 at the Tom and Ginny Futch Ballroom at the University Center Club. The banquet, which is open to the public for $35 per ticket, will begin with a social hour at 6 pm followed by dinner at 7 pm.
The Seminoles’ coaching staff will celebrate the team’s success during the season as Florida State participated in the postseason for the school record eighth consecutive year and earned the championship of the Coaches vs. Cancer Tournament. Under Head Coach Leonard Hamilton, the Seminoles maintained their overall winning tradition as the third winningest program in the ACC in the last eight seasons.
Hamilton and his staff will also honor the careers of seniors Michael Snaer, Joey Moreau and Ralfi Portuondo who helped the Seminoles advance to three NCAA Tournaments, the NCAA Tournament Sweet 16 in 2011 and to the first ACC Championship in school history in 2012.
Please RSVP to the men’s basketball office at (850) 644-1461 or by emailing the basketball program at firstname.lastname@example.org. Space is limited – please reserve your seats by April 10 at 5 p.m.
