LOS CABOS, Mexico (Seminoles.com) – The 27th-ranked Florida State Men’s Golf team finished in eighth place after Tuesday’s final round at the Cabo Collegiate at Querencia.
The Seminoles shot 16-over for the tournament (297-274-297), unable to capitalize off their tremendous showing in Monday’s second round. Sophomore John Pak was able to finish well, tying for seventh at 4-under overall as he ended his tournament stay with a 2-under 69 on Tuesday.

Pak recorded four birdies in the final round, including consecutive birdies on the 14th and 15th holes that were a par 3 and 5, respectively.
Junior Jamie Li shot an even-par 71 on Tuesday and tied for 18th at the tournament at even par. Li led the Seminoles with five birdies in the final round.
Senior Bennett Baker, coming off an outstanding 5-under 66 on Monday, tied for 36th overall at 8-over. The Tallahassee native shot a 7-over 78 on Tuesday.
Senior Corey Carlson (+12), freshman Calvin Sierota (+21) and sophomore individual Parker Reddig (+25) rounded out the scores for the Seminoles.
Florida State returns with the competitive Valspar Collegiate Invitational held March 17-19 in Palm City, Fla.
Pak Earns Second ACC Golfer of the Month
John Pak received more good news on Tuesday morning when the Atlantic Coast Conference named him the ACC Golfer of the Month after a tremendous showing in February. It is Pak’s second career golfer of the month honor.
Pak won the Sea Best Invitational (-4) and the Mobile Sports Authority Intercollegiate (-11) and placed fifth at the Seminole Intercollegiate (-5).
The Scotch Plains, N.J., native has now won four tournaments since making his collegiate debut in the Fall 2017.
