Men’s Golf Prepares for All-American Intercollegiate

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (Seminoles.com) – No. 28 Florida State Men’s Golf gets back into the swing of things as it prepares for the All-American Intercollegiate held March 21-22 at the Golf Club of Houston in Humble, Texas.

The Seminoles join a 17-team field that includes Houston, Rice, Abilene Christian, Arkansas State, Baylor, Florida State, Georgia State, Lamar, Louisiana, Louisiana Tech, Mississippi State, New Mexico State, North Texas, Sam Houston State, Texas State, ULM and UTSA.

For FSU, the two-day tournament is its first competition since placing third at the Cabo Collegiate Invitational on March 1. Sophomore Frederik Kjettrup tied for fifth in Cabo when he shot a 10-under 202.

The Golf Club of Houston is a 7,425-yard course. FSU looks to add to its strong spring season in what will be the fourth tournament, winning in Mobile on Feb. 15, placing 10th at the Watersound Invitational on Feb. 22 and finishing third in Cabo.

Competing for Florida State will be Cole Anderson, Daniel Bradbury, Kjettrup, Michael Sakane and Brett Roberts. All golfers are scheduled for a 9 a.m. ET/ 8 a.m. CT shot-gun start on Monday and Tuesday. Monday will include 36 holes.
