TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – The Florida State men’s tennis team wrapped up play at the Bedford Cup on Sunday winning all four of their singles matches.

“I thought we finished the tournament strong today,” said head coach Dwayne Hultquist. “we were able to win all four singles matches after being down in three of them.”

The day was once again started with two doubles matches as both Seminoles pairs fell. Sophomore Sebastian Arcila and freshman Richard Thongoana fell 6-2 to the USF pair of Compos and Wojcik. Junior Enzo Le Seguillon and freshman Bryn Nahrung lost 6-0 to Sakalauskas and Tebet of Florida Gulf Coast.

The day got better from there as the Garnet and Gold went 4-0 in singles. Le Seguillon won 7-6(4), 6-2 against Laalej of FAU for his second win of the weekend. Nahrung earned his third win of the weekend with a 6-4, 6-3 over Gennes of Stetson.

“I was pleased with Enzo, Sebastian and Richard for their efforts today for being down and having the fight to come back and win their matches,” said Hultquist. “We have a lot of work to do, but the longer the tournament went the better we played.”
