Tallahassee, Fla. – The Florida State men’s tennis team welcomes Florida Atlantic, Louisiana Lafayette, and Florida A&M to Tallahassee this weekend for their 2020 home opener. All matches will take place at the Scott Speicher Memorial Tennis Center starting against FAU this Friday (4 p.m.). This match is followed by a doubleheader on Saturday against ULL (10 a.m.) and FAMU (3 p.m.).
Friday’s match against Florida Atlantic will be the first of three broadcasted matches on the ACC Network Extra. The Seminoles are 16-0 all-time against the Owls including a shut out 4-0 victory a season ago.
Saturday’s 10 a.m. match against Louisiana Lafayette will be the first meeting between the two schools. To close out the home opening weekend, the Garnet and Gold take on FAMU. FSU has never lost to the Rattlers, garnering a 14-0 all-time record.
