TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – On Monday, in anticipation of the latest edition of the “Bowden Bowl”, Florida State running back Nick Maddox will make a special visit to the ESPN.com moderated chat room to talk about the father-son clash. Maddox, a junior from Kannapolis, N.C., leads the Seminoles in rushing with 368 yards (7th in the ACC). He has scored four tochdowns on the year, three rushing and one receiving.
Florida State is 4-2 on the year and currently ranked No. 18 in the latest ESPN/Coaches Poll. The team looks to add to its 3-1 ACC record against Clemson Nov. 3 as FSU coach Bobby Bowden faces his son, Clemson head coach Tommy, on the gridiron.
Last season, Maddox played in all 13 games as a receiver, tailback and kick returner. He started the year at wide receiver, but returned to tailback when four Seminole running backs were injured in the Wake Forest game. He rushed six times for 70 yards and caught seven passes for 135 yards and one score.
If you have a question for Maddox, send it in now. We’ll save it for his arrival on Monday at 11:50 a.m. ET. Join us then.
