NAPA, Calif. – The Florida State men’s tennis team followed up a stellar first day performance with another day of wins at the Napa Valley Tennis Classic. The team went 3-1 in singles and 1-0 in doubles. Play was delayed due to rain so only one doubles match was played at the Meadowood Napa Valley Resort.

In singles, three Seminoles won their second matches of the tournament beginning with freshman Michael Rinaldi defeated Kalman Boyd, a junior player from the USTA, 6-2, 7-5.

No. 57 Dominic Cotrone defeated Gregory Bayane of California 6-4, 6-1 while No. 116 Benjamin Lock won 7-6 (4), 6-3 over Andre Goransson of California.

In the only doubles play of the day, sophomore Marco Nunez and Lock teamed up to top Uros Petronijevis and Clarke Spinosa of San Diego 8-5.

Play resumes Sunday morning at 8:00 a.m. PT.
