⚾️: Noles Face USF in Tampa

MARTIN NAMED ACC PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Freshman Robby Martin was named the Atlantic Coast Conference Player of the Week Monday. He is FSU’s first freshman to be named player of the week since DJ Stewart won the award twice in 2013.

Martin was 8-for-12 with three doubles, a home run and eight RBI in three games against Youngstown State. His six RBI in game two against the Penguins was the most for a Seminole since Drew Mendoza in 2017.

Martin leads the ACC in hits with 15 and RBI with 17.

MARTIN’S FINAL SEASON
Head coach Mike Martin became the winningest coach in NCAA history in FSU’s 3-2, 13-inning win at Clemson last season. Martin is just 6 wins shy of 2,000 for his career and is 1,994-713-4 overall in 40 seasons.

Martin announced in June that 2019 would be his final year coaching the Seminoles.
