Noles in Second at Daniel Island Intercollegiate

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (Seminoles.com) – Florida State Men’s Golf had a good first day at the Daniel Island Intercollegiate, shooting 8-under through two rounds to sit in second place heading into Monday’s final round.

The Seminoles trail only Seton Hall (-12) in the tournament, which consists of 20 programs.

Sophomore Frederik Kjettrup continues to lead FSU, shooting 3-under on the day to tie for third place thus far. Kjettrup shot a 71 in the first round and followed with a 70 in the second round.

Fellow sophomore Brett Roberts is 2-under (73-69), while Dan Bradbury tied for 15th with an even-par 144 (73-71) through two rounds of play.

Connor Futrell is tied for 20th (76-69) is tied for 20th at 1-over. Michael Mays is at 3-over.

FSU tees off at 8:15 a.m. in Monday’s final round.
