Noles In The NFL: Week 15

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – One if the most popular Seminoles in recent memory opened his scoring account Sunday. Running back Chris Thompson, just called up from the practice squad earlier in the week, played for the Redskins and scored on a 9-yard TD pass from quarterback Robert Griffin III.

Elsewhere, linebacker Nigel Bradham had another big day and kicker Graham Gano made four field goals in Carolina’s two-point win over Tampa Bay.

Here’s a look at all the Noles in the NFL for Week 15.

Arizona 12, St. Louis 6
Cardinals: CB Antonio Cromartie  started and made four tackles. DT Darnell Dockett is on injured reserve.
Rams: CB Lamarcus Joyner was inactive.

Pittsburgh 27, Atlanta 20
Steelers: LB Lawrence Timmons started and had five tackles. LB Vince Williams finished with seven tackles.
Falcons: RB Devonta Freeman carried four times for 21 yards and added one catch for nine yards. RB Antone Smith is injured and out for the season.

Baltimore 20, Jacksonville 12
Ravens: DT Timmy Jernigan started, had two sacks, five quarterback hurries and four tackles. FS Terrence Brooks was injured on the opening kickoff. The team later announced that he’d torn his PCL and MCL and is out for the season.
Jaguars: LB Telvin Smith started and made five tackles. LB Geno Hayes started and had six tackles (one for loss).

Buffalo 21, Green Bay 13
Bills: LB Nigel Bradham started, made eight tackles and had a tackle for loss. He was also credited with the game-sealing safety. LS Garrison Sanborn handled his duties. QB EJ Manuel did not play.
Packers: NT Letroy Guion started and finished with three tackles and a sack.

Carolina 19, Tampa Bay 17
Panthers: K Graham Gano made four field goals (49, 45, 38 and 29 yards) and missed a 50-yard attempt.  WR Kelvin Benjamin started and had eight catches for 104 yards.

Cincinnati 30, Cleveland 0
Browns: WR Rodney Smith played but did not record any statistics.

Indianapolis 17, Houston 10
Colts: DE Bjoern Werner started, made six tackles and recovered a fumble.

Kansas City 31, Oakland 13
Chiefs: C Rodney Hudson started.
Raiders: K Sebastian Janikowski made two field goals (53, 33) and an extra point. RT Menelik Watson was inactive.

New England 41, Miami 13
Patriots: C Bryan Stork started and made a tackle after an interception.

New York Giants 24, Washington 13
Giants: WR Preston Parker started and caught one pass for 12 yards. CB Mike Harris made two tackles.
Redskins: RB Chris Thompson was promoted from the practice squad this week and caught his first career TD pass. He finished with three carries for 12 yards and added another 22 yards on three receptions.

Denver 22, San Diego 10
Broncos: CB Tony Carter played but did not record any statistics.

New York Jets 16, Tennessee 11
Titans: RB/KR Leon Washington returned five kicks for 116 yards (long of 46) and caught one pass for two yards. LB Kamerion Wimbley was inactive.

Detroit 16, Minnesota 14
Lions: DT Andre Fluellen recorded a QB hurry.
Vikings: CB Xavier Rhodes started and had three tackles (one for loss). QB Christian Ponder did not play.

Seattle 17, San Francisco 7
49ers: DE Cornellius Carradine had two sacks. LB Nick Moody made five tackles, was also flagged for a roughing the passer penalty that led to a Seahawks touchdown. WR Anquan Boldin started and caught two passes for 23 yards.

Dallas 38, Philadelphia 27
Cowboys: LB Dekoda Watson was inactive.

Monday Night Football: New Orleans at Chicago, 8:30 p.m.
Bears: LB Christian Jones has played in 13 of the team’s 14 games and started two. He has 38 tackles (16 solo), a pass defended and a fumble recovery.
Saints: DT Brodrick Bunkley is out for the year after tearing a quad. He finished the season having started in all 11 games and had 17 tackles.
