TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Thirteen Florida State standouts are still on their quest to raise the Vince Lombardi Trophy after last week’s NFL Wild Card Playoffs. Rookie Derwin James’ Chargers advanced with a 23-17 win at Baltimore on Sunday afternoon, while a Philadelphia team loaded with Seminoles (Nigel Bradham, Timmy Jernigan, Ronald Darby, Josh Sweat) went to Chicago and upset the Bears.
They’ll all be joined this week by the four teams that enjoyed first-round byes: New Orleans (P.J. Williams, Patrick Robinson), Los Angeles Rams (Lamarcus Joyner), Kansas City (Kelvin Benjamin, Cameron Erving, Derrick Nnadi, Terrance Smith) and New England (Ryan Izzo).
Of the eight remaining playoff teams, all but Indianapolis and Dallas have at least one Seminole on their rosters.
Here’s a look at the Wild Card results:
Indianapolis 21, Houston 7
Texans: OL Roderick Johnson was inactive. He was promoted to the active roster last month.
Dallas 24, Seattle 22
Seahawks: K Sebastian Janikowski made 2 of 3 field goal attempts, with makes from 27 and 42 yards, and a wide-right miss from 57. He injured his hamstring on the 57-yard attempt and did not return to the game.
Los Angeles Chargers 23, Baltimore 17
Chargers: Safety Derwin James started and made four tackles (one for loss).

Philadelphia 16, Chicago 15
Eagles: LB Nigel Bradham started, made seven tackles (two for loss) and defended two passes. DT Timmy Jernigan started and made a five-yard sack for his only stop of the game. Still making his way back from injury, Jernigan played 22 of 64 defensive snaps. DE Josh Sweat (ankle) was placed on injured reserve on Dec. 11. CB Ronald Darby (knee) was placed on injured reserve in November.
