The Florida State women’s basketball team earned another impressive ranking Tuesday when they were pegged as the No. 12 team in the country in the preseason ESPN/USA Today Coaches Poll. The ranking is the highest preseason honor in school history.

Defending NCAA Champion Connecticut topped the poll with 31 first place votes, followed by Stanford, Ohio State, Baylor and North Carolina. Fellow ACC member Duke was No. 6 and behind the Blue Devils was Notre Dame, Oklahoma, Tennessee and wrapping up the top 10 was Michigan State.
