Tallahassee, Fla. – Florida State women’s swimming and diving team members will compete at the 2023 NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships that will run from March 15-18 at the Allan Jones Aquatic Center.
The Seminoles will start the meet on Wednesday at 6 p.m., with Tania Quaglieri, Julia Mansson, Jenny Halden, and Alexandra Dicks competing in the 200 medley relay. Individual races will start on Thursday and will feature Edith Jernstedt, Maddy Huggins, Anna Metzler, and Mansson. Samantha Vear will compete in both springboard diving events, which also start on Thursday.
“We’re excited these young ladies made it through to NCAAs,” FSU head coach Neal Studd said. “This is one of the fastest meets in the world. We’re looking to enjoy it and swim fast.”
The 200 medley relay will be a timed final, with the top 16 teams capturing All-America honors and scoring points.
Prelims each day will begin at 10 a.m. and the top 16 swimmers in each event will advance to finals at 6 p.m. Diving prelims will take place at approximately 12:15. The top eight divers will advance to finals at night, and the divers that place ninth through 16th will compete again immediately after prelims.
