TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (Seminoles.com) – Florida State Men’s Golfers Vincent Norrman and Brett Roberts were selected as PING All-Americans, announced recently by the Golf Coaches Association of America.
Norrman, who is currently competing professionally, earned second-team honors while rising sophomore Brett Roberts was named to the honorable mention list. The pair joins John Pak, who was previously announced as a first-team member.
In Norrman’s lone season with the Seminoles as a graduate student, the native of Stockholm, Sweden, made his mark in Tallahassee. He made the All-ACC Team and finished as a Top 18 golfer in the country, ranking 12th by Golfstat and 18th by Golfweek by season’s end.
He recorded the ninth-lowest scoring average in a season at FSU, shooting 70.81 in 2021. He won the Timuquana Collegiate with a 13-under 203 and earned four Top 10 finishes.
Roberts is expected to be one of FSU’s main anchors next season, producing one of the top freshman campaigns in program history. The Coral Springs, Fla., native was a GCAA All-Freshman Team member and an honorable mention All-American by Golfweek. He also earned a spot on the All-ACC Team.
The product of St. Thomas Aquinas High School garnered three finishes in the top nine this past season. He ranked 42nd by Golfstat and 48th by Golfweek in the season’s final rankings. In his 31 rounds played, 17 were recorded at par or less, including nine that were in the 60s.
