TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Florida State pitcher, Kathryn Sandercock was named the ACC’s Pitcher of the Week or the second straight week after going 3-0 last week with a save in four appearances.
The McLean, Va. native shut down the Seminole’s opponents last week as she did not allow a run in 12 innings of work. Sandercock only allowed three hits and recorded 11 strikeouts while earning a 0.0 ERA. She held her opponents to a .083 batting average.
Sandercock is now 8-0 on the season and leads the team with two saves. She has pitched a team-leading 41.2 innings and has a 0.50 ERA. She has 42 strikeouts on the year and has held her opponents to a .148 batting average.
