Seminole Soccer Sets 46 Records During 2000 Season

When the Florida State women’s soccer team began three-a-days in August they entered the season with little tradition or past success to draw on. After a trip to the Sweet 16 and the most successful season in the history of the program, that won’t be the case next year.

The Seminoles completed the most successful season in the program’s six years and one of the biggest turn-a-rounds in Florida State athletic history when they advanced to the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Tournament this November. The FSU soccer team broke or tied 14 individual records and 18 team records during the march to their first-ever NCAA Tournament.
