February 22, 1999

  • The softball team will begin the week with a road trip to Auburn where
    they will play a double-header with the Auburn Tigers on Tuesday, February
    23, beginning at 2:00pm. The Lady Seminoles will then head to Columbus, GA
    to compete in the NFCA Speedline Invitational, where they will play
    Colorado State and Nebraska on Friday, February 26, and DePaul on Saturday,
    February 27 before bracket play on Sunday, February 28.

  • The women’s tennis team will take on South Alabama at home on Tuesday,
    February 23 at 2:00pm. They will then play Vanderbilt at 11:00am on
    Saturday, February 27.

  • The men’s basketball team will head to Raleigh, NC where they will take
    on NC State in an ESPN2 game at 7:00pm. The Seminoles will then play their
    final game of the season as they host Maryland, tip-off at 1:30 on
    Raycom/Jefferson Pilot stations. Catch all the action on WNLS 1270 AM.

  • The men’s swimming and diving team will compete in the ACC Championships
    on Thursday, February 25-Saturday, February 27 in College Park, MD, hosted
    by the University of Maryland.

  • The women’s basketball team will head to Charlotte, NC to compete in the
    ACC Tournament Thursday, February 25-Saturday, February 27.

  • The men’s tennis team will take on Southern Mississippi at 3:30 at the
    tennis center on Friday, February 26. They will then host Furman at 2:00pm
    on Sunday, February 28.

  • The women’s golf team will compete in the Lady Gator Invitational in
    Gainesville, FL Thursday, February 25-Sunday, February 28.

  • The baseball team will head to Gainesville to take on the Gators on
    Saturday, February 27 and Sunday, February 28.

  • The track and field team will compete in the USATF National Indoor
    Championships in Atlanta Friday and Saturday, February 26-27.
