The Florida State volleyball team hits the road to take on ACC opponents Virginia and Virginia Tech. The Seminoles will face the Cavaliers on Thursday, Sept. 20 and match-up with the Hokies on Friday, Sept. 21. Both games are at 7:00 p.m. and can be seen LIVE on ACC Select.

Beat Virginia Tech in conference opener on Sept. 14th, 3-0 (30-28, 32-30, 30-25)
Senior outside hitter Sarah Kirkwood rankes second in the ACC for killsper game average with 4.69 (169 total this season).
Kirkwood is also second in the league for points with 198 (5.50 avg per game)

The Last Time: FSU vs. Virginia, Nov. 10, 2006 – The Seminoles lost to the Cavaliers 3-2 (28-30, 22-30, 30-23, 30-24, 14-16) in Tallahassee
Virginia finished second in the ACC last season with a 16-6 conference record
Virginia is ranked No. 2 in the ACC with six victories and four losses while the Seminoles are only two steps behind in fourth with a 4-5 overall record. Both teams won their first conference match last weekend, Florida State swept Miami 3-0 while the Cavaliers took down Virginia Tech 3-0.

Seminoles’ Djuric Earns ACC Player of the Week…
Junior outside hitter Mira Djuric was named the ACC Volleyball Player of the Week on Sept. 17th. Djuric is third in the conference for service aces with 24 (0.75 per game) and is sixth in points with a 4.55 per game average (146 total).
Florida State Sweeps Miami In Conference Opener…
In its first ACC game this season, Florida State took down in-state rival Miami 3-0 (30-17, 30-24, 30-22). The Seminoles now lead the all-time series with the Hurricanes 15-12.
