Seminoles Continue Preparations For Terrapins

Nov. 3, 1999

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — The top-ranked Florida State Seminoles (9-0)
continued practice for their game against Maryland on Saturday, November 13
with a 22 period practice on the Ed Williamson practice fields. The
Seminoles began practice with work on the kicking game before moving on to
individual work and team drills.

“It was a good practice,” said head coach Bobby Bowden. “It was
cold and usually when it’s cold they get around pretty good. It was a good
practice for an open date. When you have an open date and don’t have a
game on Saturday, the incentives stop, normally. I thought they practiced
good today though, and I was glad to see that.”

INJURY REPORT: QB Marcus Outzen and TE Carver Donaldson missed
practice today with an intestinal virus.
OT Char-Ron Dorsey sprained his right thumb.

The Florida State Seminoles will have an off weekend before facing
Maryland on Saturday, November 13. Kickoff time for that game is set for
3:30 p.m. The game will be held in Doak Campbell Stadium and will be
televised on ABC.
