TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (seminoles.com) — Florida State, which has won 19 consecutive home games and 13 straight ACC games at home, plays host to Syracuse on Saturday, February 15, 2020 at the Donald L. Tucker Center at 12 Noon. The Seminoles have won each of their last 19 games in Tallahassee (13-0 in ACC games and 6-0 in non-conference games) since as 77-68 victory over Clemson on January 22, 2019. When its game against Syracuse tips, it will be 399 days since the Seminoles last did not win at home (January 12, 2019 vs. Duke). Florida State plays the Orange in the only regular season meeting between the two teams during the 2020 season marking the fourth consecutive season the two teams have met only once during the season – each year since 2017. The Seminoles and the Orange last met twice in a season during the 2015-16 when the teams split the two contests with each team winning on their home court. Saturday’s meeting of the Seminoles and the Orange marks only the eighth time the two have met since Syracuse joined the ACC for the 2013-14 season. Following Saturday’s game against Syracuse, the Seminoles play host to Pittsburgh on Tuesday, February 18 at 8:00 at the Donald L. Tucker Center.

FORREST ENJOYS RECORD DAY WITH EIGHT STEALS AT DUKE
Senior Trent Forrest earned a career-high eight steals in Florida State’s game at Duke on Monday night – the most steals ever by an opponent against Duke in Cameron Indoor Stadium. His total is tied for the fifth best single game effort in school history, is tied for the third best single game effort in school history in an ACC game and is tied for the 10th highest single game total in ACC history. Forrest’s eight steals against Duke were the most by a Seminole since Chris Singleton totaled 10 in a win over UNC Greensboro in the Greensboro Coliseum on Nov. 14, 2010. Forrest enters Saturday’s game against Syracuse ranked third in school history with 215 career steals. He needs only 24 steals to move ahead of Charlie Ward (238 career steals) to become the all-time Chief Thief at Florida State.

FLORIDA STATE HAS WON MORE THAN 95 PERCENT OF ITS HOME GAMES SINCE FEBRUARY 27, 2015
Florida State is 61-3 (.953 winning percentage) in its last 64 home games since the tail end of the 2015-16 season. The Seminoles enter Saturday’s game against Syracuse having won .953 percent of their games (61-3) and .914 percent of their ACC games (32-3) at home since the tail end of the 2015-16 season. Florida State’s streak began with a 77-56 win over No. 23 Notre Dame on February 27, 2015. The Seminoles are 12-0 at home this season, were 15-1 at home during the 2018-19 season and were 18-0 at home (including 9-0 in the ACC) in 2016-17 season.

Florida State enters Saturday’s game against Syracuse as the only undefeated team at home in the ACC this season with a 12-0 record.

Florida State is 22-4 in regular season ACC games (.846 winning percentage) since defeating Clemson (77-68) on January 22, 2019 at the Donald L. Tucker Center in Tallahassee. The Seminoles won 12 of their final 13 regular season ACC games of the 2018-19 season and have won 10 of their first 13 ACC games of the 2019-20 season. During that stretch of games, Florida State is 13-0 at home and 9-4 on the road in ACC play.
