TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (AP)Michael Joiner scored 17 points and added nine
rebounds to lead host Florida State to a 93-76 victory Wednesday over winless

Florida State’s offense had its highest scoring output of the season as five
Seminoles scored in double digits. Joiner, Anthony Richardson and Trevor Harvey
each posted 17, Tim Pickett added 16 points, and Todd Galloway contributed 12
in the win over Stetson (0-7).

Florida State (6-1) entered the game ranked third nationally in scoring
defense with 53.3 points allowed per game but was its offense that led it to
the win. The Seminoles shot 69 percent in the first half to take a 49-37 lead
at intermission, and remained hot in the second half to shoot 68 percent for
the game.

Stetson was led by Alexis McMillan, who scored 21 points and grabbed a
team-leading six rebounds. Mark Stiles added 10 points and five rebounds.

The Seminoles open Atlantic Coast Conference play Sunday at home against
North Carolina.
