The Florida State women’s basketball team (22-8) will face No. 4 seed NC State (21-8) in ACC Tournament second round action Friday, March 2nd at 11 a.m. The game will be televised regionally, including FSN Florida.
The No. 25-ranked Wolfpack topped Florida State 68-51 in Raleigh, N.C. on February 5th in the only meeting between the two schools this season. Overall, FSU and NC State have met 30 times and the Wolfpack hold a 23-7 series advantage. FSU swept NC State in 1992, the Tribe’s first season in the ACC and has split with the Wolfpack five other seasons, four of which have been under Sue Semrau’s reign. FSU is 0-1 vs. NC State on a neutral court having lost last season to the Pack in the ACC Tournament.
