TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (seminoles.com) – As the Florida State University indoor volleyball team begins its 2011 campaign, fans who aren’t in attendance can look forward to seven home webcasts provided by Seminoles.com All-Access.
The seven matches include the season opener this Friday against Kentucky, as well as matches against 17th-ranked Duke (Sept. 30), Georgia Tech (Oct. 14), Virginia Tech (Oct. 28), Virginia (Oct. 30), North Carolina State (Nov. 4) and North Carolina (Nov. 6).
FSU plays 12 regular-season matches at Tully Gym this season, including three this weekend at the FSU Invitational. In addition to Friday night’s match against Kentucky at 7 p.m., the Seminoles face Albany on Saturday at 11:30 a.m. followed by a match against 23rd-ranked Tulsa at 7 p.m.
Following this weekend’s invitational, FSU’s next home match is on Wednesday, Sept. 14, in a conference-opening match against Miami that will be televised on ESPNU beginning at 8 p.m. The Seminoles also have two televised road matches including at North Carolina State on a regional network on Oct. 9 as well as an ESPN3.com contest at Clemson on Nov. 18 at 7 p.m.
