KANSAS CITY, Mo. – United Soccer Coaches announced on Thursday the 2020-21 Regional Staff of the Year winners for NCAA Divisions I, II, and III men’s and women’s soccer. The Florida State Soccer staff, led by head coach Mark Krikorian was named the Atlantic Region Staff of the year.
Krikorian and the rest of the coaching staff has led Florida State to their 11th College Cup with a 13-0-1 record. Florida State won its seventh ACC Championship in the fall after going a perfect 11-0.
Florida State has been dominant this season, outscoring its opponents 40-7. They are also unbeaten through 14 games for the third time in program history. In the fall the Seminoles scored 34 goals against ACC opponents. That was six more than any other season in the first 11 games against conference foes.
Each of the 43 (21 men’s and 22 women’s) staffs receiving Regional Staff of the Year honors will be recognized at the College Coaches Awards Ceremony, which will be made available to view online as a digital event beginning June 30.
In addition, the Regional Staff of the Year recipients have been placed on the ballot for United Soccer Coaches National Staff of the Year consideration within their respective NCAA division.
