Tallahassee, Fla. — Florida State University Athletics and Seminole Boosters, Inc. announced Tuesday that the Spirit Express, which was a football game-day bus shuttle from the Donald L. Tucker Civic Center to the grounds of Doak Campbell Stadium, will no longer be in service. The parking lots at the Tucker Center will continue to be available during Seminole home football games but without any shuttle service.
The Spirit Express could not operate last season under COVID restrictions and a decline in ridership and changes to the Civic Center game day operation as well as new campus traffic patterns for game attendees led to the discontinuation of the service. Seminole Booster members who previously received parking passes in the Tucker Center lot as part of their membership will be relocated to parking garage 29.
The ADA shuttle from Lot 9 will continue to operate as in previous seasons. Ticket holders who require ADA parking for games must complete an application available through FSU Transportation and Parking Services at www.transportation.fsu.edu/parking/disabled-parking.
