Finished his FSU career with a strong senior season, going 10-2 with a 2.09 ERA over 16 starts…surrendered only 92 hits in 94.2 innings, walked 23 and struck out 80 batters…set single-season career-highs in wins (10) and strikeouts (80) and single-game career-highs in innings pitched (8.0 twice, in game one of the doubleheader vs. USF (2/24) and at Miami (4/7) and strikeouts (9, vs. Villanova, 3/2)…in ACC games, was 7-1 with a 2.29 ERA over nine regular season games while earning All-ACC First Team honors…ranked fourth in the ACC in ERA , tied for fourth in wins, ninth in innings pitched and 10th in strikeouts…allowed first earned run of the season in his fourth start (March 9 vs. Boston College)…notched out of conference wins against USF on February 24, Villanova on March 2, and Savannah State in the Tallahassee Regional…in the opener of the Tallahassee Regional against Savannah State on May 31, pitched 7.1 innings, giving up seven hits and no walks as FSU won 10-0…allowed zero earned runs in nine of 16 outings…was the starting pitcher for three of the Seminoles’ seven shutouts on the season…FSU went 13-3 in games he started…had a run of 22.0 consecutive scoreless innings that dated back to his 2012 start against UCLA in the College World Series and lasted until his fourth start of the 2013 season (third inning vs. BC).


In 13 starts went 4-3 with a 3.72 ERA…allowed 27 earned runs in 65.1 innings of work giving up 65 hits and 21 walks, while striking out 50 including a career-high nine vs. Florida Gulf Coast on April 4…made 17 total appearances for the Seminoles during his junior year…began the season in the bullpen before assuming a starting role…first and only save of the season came in the second game against Hofstra on opening weekend…earned his first start of the season at UCF working 5.0 plus scoreless innings to pick up his first win of the season in a 1-0 FSU victory…walked two and struck out one, while two of the three hits given up were infield hits…registered six starts on the year that went 5.0 plus innings…other victories came against North Georgia, at Stetson and against UCLA at the CWS…best performance of the season came in Omaha as he worked a season-high 6.2 innings against UCLA holding the Bruins to just one run on five hits as he walked just one and struck out eight…got out of a bases loaded no out jam in the sixth inning vs. UCLA as he struck out the side in an elimination game at the CWS…got the nod as the starting pitcher in the opening game of the Tallahassee Regional against UAB…did not factor into the decision in 4.1 innings of work as he allowed one run on six hits while striking out eight…made a mid-week start against Florida in Jacksonville but once again did not factor into the decision as he went 5.1 innings allowing one run on two hits…finished second on the team in opponents’ batting average (.258) and third in innings pitched…established single-season career bests in starts, ERA and strikeouts.


Made 18 appearances with eight starts in his sophomore campaign…finished the year 4-2 with a one save and a 5.92 ERA…tallied 51.2 innings with 33 strikeouts…first start of the season came against VMI throwing 6.0 shutout innings allowing four hits and no walks while striking out a career-high five batters in picking up the win…pitched 5.0 innings of one run, four hit baseball against Florida in Tampa to earn his second win of the season…earned no decisions over his next three starts (at Georgia, Boston College, and at Virginia) throwing a combined 19.0 innings with seven strikeout and just three walks en route to posting a 3.79 ERA…hurled a career-high 7.0 innings in the middle game in Charlottesville…threw 15.0 innings in 10 relief appearances…yielded a run or less in seven of those outings…pitched in the ACC Championship game against Virginia in Durham…shut down Alabama in the NCAA Tallahassee Regional throwing 4.0 shutout innings allowing just two hits while striking out three to earn his first career save…picked up the win with 4.0 innings of work against Texas A&M in the NCAA Super Regionals…struck out four against the Aggies to force a decisive game three in the series.


Freshman right-hander finished fifth on the team with six starts out of 17 appearances…finished with a 5-0 record and 3.76 ERA…held opponents to a .207 batting average – tops on the team for any pitcher with more than one start…struck out 27 over 40.2 innings…made his collegiate debut against Georgia State (2/20) and worked a scoreless ninth inning, registering a pickoff in his first game…picked up his first victory in FSU’s come-from-behind victory in game 1 at North Carolina…pitched a scoreless eighth, retiring the side with a strikeout…surrendered his first runs of the season in a midweek appearance against Stetson, yielding three runs on two hits in 1.0 innings…put in 4.1 shutout innings of relief work in game 1 vs. Virginia Tech; his longest stint out of the bullpen…struck out three Hokies…made his first career start against North Florida (4/7) and picked up the victory with 6.0 innings of two-hit, shutout ball…followed up with his second start against Florida (4/13) and once again worked 6.0 innings to earn the victory…scattered four hits and yielded two runs (one earned) while matching his season-high for strikeouts for the second consecutive game…moved into the weekend starting rotation on April 25 against Miami…bounced back with 5.0 innings of one-hit work against LeMoyne and moved to 4-0…picked up his fifth win grinding through 6.0 innings at Boston College, scattering seven hits and allowing three runs…finished the season by making five relief appearances…did not allow a run over that stretch, spanning 6.0 innings…tossed 1.1 shutout innings with two strikeouts against Boston College in the ACC Tournament, which helped put the Seminoles in the title game…came up with 0.2 scoreless innings in game 2 of the Super Regional against Vanderbilt…made two, scoreless one-inning appearances against TCU in his first College World Series…played over the summer with the Mat-Su Miners of the Alaska Baseball League – posted a 2-0 record with a 2.70 ERA to help the Miners to the Alaska League championship.


Played baseball all four years at Fletcher High School in Jacksonville Beach, FL…earned first team all-conference and third team all-state honorable mention as a senior…went 9-2 with a 1.25 ERA with 118 strikeouts in 13 games as a junior in 2008.
