JUNIOR (2019):

The top two-way player in the ACC, hit .266 with 13 home runs and saved 13 games in 22 appearances out of the bullpen…hit .294 in 30 ACC games with a team-high 8 home runs…did not pitch his first two seasons with Florida State…final save of season was a 1-0 win over No. 5 Arkansas in the opening game of the College World Series…scored the games only run against the Razorbacks in the top of the ninth inning…had five hits in two ACC Tournament games, with a triple, home run and five RBI to earn All Tournament honors…his 13 saves led the ACC and he was the first player in FSU history to record a triple-double of home runs (13), saves (13) and steals (11) in a single season…13 saves tied for sixth-most in FSU single-season history…allowed just five earned runs in 26.2 innings for a 1.69 earned run average…saved FSU’s first game of the Baton Rouge Super Regional, not allowing a run in two innings in the Noles’ 6-4 win over LSU…had two multi-HR games, the first of his career, against Clemson and Pitt…hit a home run and earned the save in four different games in 2019…the feat had been done just twice in FSU history before Flowers in 2019 – Buster Posey vs. Auburn in 2008 and Mike McGee vs. Florida in 2010…his one start on the mound came against hometown Jacksonville (3.0 scoreless innings)…was one of five Noles with three hits against Pitt, the first time since 2009 FSU had five players with at least three hits in the same game…hit a walk-off, three-run double in the 10th inning to lead FSU past Virginia Tech, 9-8, for head coach Mike Martin’s 1,999th career win…the next day, hit a home run and earned the save for win No. 2,000.


Hit .218 over 36 games after missing six weeks with a broken jaw sustained on March 25…added 14 RBI and 26 runs scored, with six doubles…four of his six doubles came in February, eclipsing his total from his freshman season (2)…drew three walks against Mount St. Mary’s (5/13), tying a career high…had two hits and six walks against the Mountaineers, his first action since breaking his jaw sliding into second base in the rubber match at North Carolina…started the final 11 games of 2018…stole home plate in the series opener against Wake Forest, a 7-3 FSU win (3/9)…had a season-high three RBI against Troy (2/25) and had five multi-hit games…had FSU’s first two outfield assists of the season, against Xavier (2/17) and at Florida (3/13)…only Steven Wells (6) had more outfield assists.

FRESHMAN (2017):

Started in 67 of 69 games in 2017…ended the year with a .359 on-base percentage, 32 RBI, and 44 runs scored…went 7-for-7 in stolen base attempts…picked up his first two career hits on a pair of singles in a February 18 outing against VCU…smacked the first home run of his career with an opposite-field shot to help FSU claim a 16-3 victory over Samford on February 24…picked up three sacrifice hits (one sac fly and two sac bunts) on March 5 en route to a 14-6 win over Oakland…mashed his second home run of the season and hit a two-run triple in the March 11 doubleheader in which the Seminoles outscored Boston College 24-1…drove a 1-2 pitch into left field, scoring Hank Truluck and Jackson Lueck in the bottom of the ninth to cap Florida State’s 10-9 win over Jacksonville and his first career three-hit game on March 21…named to the ACC All-Freshman Team on May 22…laid out for an outstanding catch that robbed Louisville of an extra-base hit on May 26 in the ACC Tournament, keeping FSU’s lead in tact in the fourth inning, and the Seminoles went on to win the game 6-2 and advance to the semifinals of the ACC Championship…had a bases-loaded hit by pitch in the tenth inning against Auburn in the Regionals, extending FSU’s season…his 13 combined sacrifice hits tied for eighth-most in a season in FSU history…played summer ball for the Newport Gulls in the New England Collegiate Baseball League, where he batted .283 with three doubles and a home run in 53 at-bats.


Graduated from Trinity Christian Academy in Orange Park, Fla….drafted in the 18th round of the 2016 MLB First Year Player Draft by the Cincinnati Reds…ranked the No. 142 prospect by Baseball America entering the 2016 draft…a Rawlings-Perfect Game honorable mention All-American his senior year…acquired a spot on the Florida All-Region First Team…named to the 2015 Underclass Third Team in his junior year…ranked the No. 1 outfielder in Florida in his 2016 class by Perfect Game…majored in editing, writing & media…born May 19, 1998.
