Started 11 games and made 16 appearances, finishing 3-1 with a 3.66 earned run average…struck out 71 batters in 51.2 innings pitched…set career highs for innings pitched (5.2 vs. Boston College) and strikeouts (8 against Boston College and Stetson)…struck out six batters against Clemson, combining with Conor Grady (11) and J.C. Flowers (2) for the fifth-most strikeouts in a nine-inning game in FSU history…made first career start against Maine on February 17, allowing just one hit and no runs in three innings…earned wins against Youngstown State, at NC State and against Stetson…played summer ball for the Falmouth Commodores in the Cape Cod League.

FRESHMAN (2018):

Appeared out of the bullpen in six games…struck out a batter and walked 10…did not allow a run in either of his final two appearances, at No. 9 Clemson (5/6) and against Mount St. Mary’s (5/13)…pitched a career-high 1.2 innings against the Tigers…made his first career appearance against Troy (2/23)…played his summer ball for the Lexington County Blowfish of the Coastal Plains League.


Drohan was taken in the 23rd Round of the 2017 MLB Draft by the Philadelphia Phillies and ranked 186th overall in the Perfect Game National Rankings…went 4-2 with a 1.90 earned run average for Cardinal Newman in 2017, racking up 80 strikeouts in 42 innings pitched…first team All-District selection, an honorable mention All-American and chosen for the FACA All-Star Game…played three years of football in high school as well…dad Bill was a pitcher in the Kansas City Royals organization for four years (1987-90)…majoring in finance…born January 7, 1999.
