SOPHOMORE (2019):

A staple of the weekend rotation all season, started 18 games and finished with a 10-4 record and 3.81 earned run average…struck out 129 batters in 99.1 innings pitched…was at his best in FSU’s biggest games, pitching 8.0 innings against No. 16 Clemson and at No. 4 national seed Georgia in the Athens Regional…struck out 11 batters in six innings in the ACC Tournament against NC State and against Wake Forest…struck out 10 batters in only 3.0 innings against Pitt before the game was suspended due to weather…won seven consecutive decisions between April 13 and June 17…against the Wolfpack in the ACC Tournament, allowed just one hit in FSU’s 11-0 victory…with Drew Parrish’s 125, it was the first time since 1999 that FSU teammates each had 100 or more strikeouts in the same season…they were the only teammates to each cross the 125 barrier in 2019…finished second in the ACC with 10 wins and 129 strikeouts…his 99.1 innings pitched were third-most in the league.

FRESHMAN (2018):

Second-team freshman All-American made 19 appearances, including five starts, finishing with a 7-0 record and 2.86 earned run average…seven wins without a loss is the most for a Seminole pitcher since Kevin Lynch went 12-0 in 2005…struck out 71 batters in 56.2 innings pitched, allowing 42 hits and walking 30…earned a save in his second appearance as a Seminole, pitching 3.0 innings against UNC Asheville (3/4)…made his first appearance against Troy (2/23)…made his first start against UCF (3/21)…had back-to-back strong relief outings against North Carolina (3/25) and Louisville (3/31)…against the Tar Heels, allowed just two hits and struck out five in 4.1 innings to earn his first career victory…against the Cardinals, struck out four and allowed just one run in six innings…started against Boston College at Fenway Park, his first start in a weekend rotation…against Miami (4/28), pitched a career-high 7.1 innings, struck out a career-best 10 and allowed just one run in FSU’s 10-1 win, the 1,975th of head coach Mike Martin’s career…followed that up with a win at Clemson, pitching the final 6.1 frames of a 13-inning, 3-2 FSU win for Martin’s 1,976th win, the most in college baseball history…earned both regular season wins against NC State, pitching an inning in each game…in a tie game in the 11th inning vs. the Wolfpack (5/17), allowed a leadoff triple but struck out the next three batters and FSU won on Steven Wells’ walk-off home run…started the ACC Tournament opener against Virginia (5/22) and earned his seventh win of the year against Clemson in the semifinals (5/26), allowing a hit and striking out five without allowing a run over the final three innings…struck out a batter in 0.2 innings pitched in the NCAA Tournament against Samford…joined with teammate Drew Parrish to pitch for the Team USA Collegiate National Team over the summer.

PERSONAL:

Taken in the 19th Round of the 2017 MLB Draft out of Steinbrenner High…as a senior, was 5-1 with a 0.73 earned run average, recording 56 strikeouts in 38.1 innings pitched…he earned first team All-American honors and was ranked No. 57 in the Perfect Game National Rankings…also a first team All-American as a junior…Florida Dairy Farmer Player of the Year…gold medalist with the 18U USA National Team and led Steinbrenner to the 8A state championship in 2016…majoring in criminology…born September 15, 1998.
