Hit .300 with 13 doubles, 10 home runs, 32 RBI and a team-high .553 slugging percentage…started 45 of 56 games played…hit a walk-off single against Cal, FSU’s first of four walk-off victories on the season…also had his first outfield assist in the game vs. Cal…hit a go-ahead pinch-hit home run at Clemson to secure FSU’s only victory of the series…reached base safely in 19 consecutive games during the season and 43 of 45 starts overall…finished second on the team in home runs, the most for a Seminole freshman since Drew Mendoza also had 10 in 2017…hit a home run on Opening Day against James Madison on the first pitch he saw as a Seminole…hit a two-run double in FSU’s 2-1 win vs. Jacksonville…one of three freshmen to start on Opening Day.
Graduated from Pope High School in Marietta, Georgia…earned first team All-State honors as a sophomore and senior and graduated with honors…helped lead Pope to the 2018 Georgia AAAAAA state championship and a runner-up finish in 2019…parents are Jim and Julie Tibbs…sister Mary Grace…majoring in political science…born on October 1, 2002.
