Hit a career-best .276 in his senior campaign appearing in 62 games while making 43 starts – all in centerfield…collected 47 hits including 15 doubles and four triples…led all Seminoles in triples, fourth in doubles and fifth in total bases…finished the year posting single-season career-high for runs (38), hits, doubles, triples and walks (25)…tied a career-high with four hits in the opening game of a three-game series against Villanova…finished the year with 13 multi-hit games…drove in a season-high three runs twice – first against the Wildcats during his four-hit performance and second against Georgia Tech in the series finale…finished league play hitting .286 in 29 games with 26 hits, 16 runs scored and nine RBI…tied a career-high scoring three runs in a game four times – Villanova (3/1), Stetson (3/20), at Stetson (5/8) and at NC State (5/12)…appeared in all five games in FSU’s run to a sixth straight Super Regional appearance…named to the Tallahassee Regional All-Tournament team after hitting .500 (3-for-6) with two doubles, one triple, an RBI, five runs scored and six walks while recording one outfield assist…registered a team-best 10 outfield assists (and 13 for his career) with five coming on outs at the plate, four were direct throws to home and three resulted in double plays…finished the season with a perfect fielding percentage converting on all 112 chances.


Appeared in 60 games making 43 starts – 35 in right field, four in left field and four as the Seminole DH…finished his junior campaign hitting .212 (31-for-146) with 29 RBI and 20 runs scored…recorded seven doubles, two triples and three home runs…all three home runs were grand slams (Hofstra, Stetson and Stanford) which tied a school record for grand slams hit in one year…fifth Seminole to perform the feat joining J.D. Drew (1997), Jeremy Morris (1997), Dennis Guinn (2006) and Buster Posey (2008)…one of just three players to hit a triple on the year…had a career night against Stetson (3/20) in game one posting career-highs for at-bats (6), hits (4) and RBI (6) – hit doubles in his first two plate appearances and then connected on his second career grand slam and second of the season in the seventh; drove in his sixth run of the game on an infield single in the eighth – finished the game with a season-high nine total bases…broke a 5-5 tie in the series finale against Virginia recording a two-out, two-run single in the eighth to lead FSU to 7-5 victory over the Cavaliers and a series sweep…recorded the game-winning hit in game one of the series at Wake Forest lacing an RBI single to left center scoring Josh Delph from second to break a 4-4 tie in the 11th inning – finished the game with two RBI… was featured on SportsCenter’s Top Plays – ranked No. 4 – for an outstanding catch in game one of a doubleheader against Clemson…hit his third grand slam and FSU’s seventh grand slam of the season in the eighth inning of the Super Regional clinching win over Stanford to finish 1-for-3 with four RBI…played in all four games out in Omaha making three starts…tied for second on the team in outfield assists with three…played over the summer with the Covington Lumberjacks of the Valley League.


Made 49 appearances with 29 starts in his first season at Florida State…tallied 21 starts in left field and eight more as the Seminole DH…posted a .178 batting average collecting 18 hits on four doubles, one home run…registered 15 runs, 12 RBI and drew 20 walks…was a perfect 8-for-8 in stolen bases…drew a pair of walks in his Seminole debut on opening day against VMI…earned his first start against the Cadets in the series finale and went 2-for-3 with three RBI and a run scored…belted his first collegiate home run in the win over VMI…started the middle game against Hofstra and collected three walks which led to a career-high three runs scored…started each of the three games at Virginia and hit .364 against the Cavaliers with a double, two runs and three RBI…collected a career-high three hits in the middle game of the series against Virginia…walked a career-high four times in game two at Virginia Tech.


Played one season of junior college ball, where he batted .321 (.373 in conference play) and earned second team all-conference honors as a freshman…stole 24 bases, drove in 46 runs and belted six homers.


A four-year varsity player at Mosley High, where he was two-time MVP and Gold Glove winners…batted .471 as a senior with 46 RBI and five homers…posted a 9-1 pitching record with a 1.25 ERA…a two-time, second team All-State selection…also won Heart of a Champion award.


Son of Nixon and Denise Miller…father is a minister…brother Nick played baseball at Gulf Coast CC and graduated from Florida State…member of the 3.0 GPA Club at FSU (Spring & Fall 2011, Spring & Fall 2012)…earned a bachelor’s of science degree in sport management in the spring of 2013…born July 19, 1991.
