A member of Florida State’s 2018 NCAA Elite Eight team who is in his third season as a member of the Seminole men’s basketball team…has helped the Seminoles reach the NCAA Tournament in his first two seasons as a Seminole…joined the team as a freshman in the fall of 2016…a valuable member of the scout team who practiced and traveled with the team throughout his first two seasons as a Seminole…named to the ACC Academic Honor Roll in 2017 and 2018…helped the Seminole men’s basketball team earn an NABC Team Academic Excellence Award for the 2017 season…earned two awards at the Seminoles’ 2018 Honors Banquet: one for Academic Achievement and an Unsung Hero Award as a member of Florida State’s Scout team — the Green Vipers…earned the award for being an integral part of the Green Team Vipers at the Seminoles’ Honors Banquet in 2019…


Earned playing time in an ACC game for the first time in his career in the Seminoles’ victory over Syracuse at the Carrier Dome (Feb. 5)…playing time came in Florida State’s victory over Wake Forest in the Donald L. Tucker Center in Tallahassee (Feb. 13)…first career points on two made free throws, one assist and one steal in Florida State’s 69-47 win over Georgia Tech in Atlanta (Feb. 16)…totaled 1 assist in two minutes played in Florida State’s 90-62 win over Murray State in the NCAA Tournament at the XL Center in Hartford, Conn…the win propelled the Seminoles to the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Tournament for the second consecutive season (March 23)…


Averaged 0.0 points, 0.2 rebounds and 0.4 assists as he earned playing time for the first time in his career as a sophomore…helped Florida State advance to the Elite Eight of the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 1993…played in five games including the Seminoles’ victories over Missouri and Gonzaga in the NCAA Tournament…his appearance in Florida State’s victory over Gonzaga in the NCAA Tournament helped the Seminoles advance to the Elite Eight for the first time in a quarter of a century…playing time for the first time in his career came in the Seminoles’ 67-43 victory over Fordham in the first round of the 2017 Jamaica Classic (Nov. 17)…also saw action in Florida State’s win over The Citadel in Tallahassee (Nov. 24)…earned the first two assists of his career in a career-high four minutes of playing time in Florida State’s victory over Southern Miss at the Donald L. Tucker Center (Dec. 21)…inserted in to the lineup in Florida State’s victory over No. 8 seed Missouri (March 16, 67-54) in the first round of the NCAA Tournament at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tenn. … also earned playing time in Seminoles’ 75-60 victory over No. 4 seed Gonzaga in the Sweet 16 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles (March 22).


A member of the team but did not play in any games…practiced with the team and traveled to each of the Seminoles’ road games during the season…helped the Seminoles advance to the second round of the NCAA Tournament.

At Christian Brothers

Graduated from Christian Brothers School in Memphis, Tenn., in 2016…a member of the varsity team at Christian Brothers High School as a sophomore, junior and as a senior…helped Christian Brothers to a 57-3 record (.950 winning percentage) and two state championship tournament appearances during his junior and senior seasons…averaged 11.0 points, 4.8 assists and 0.9 steals while shooting 53 percent from the field in leading Christian Brothers to a 28-2 record and to the semifinals of the state championship tournament as a junior…earned All-Region First-Team honors and served as the team captain as a senior…named as the Most Valuable Player at the Fort Walton Beach Blowout as a senior…earned All-Region Honorable Mention honors in leading the Purple Wave to the state championship game and a 29-1 record as a junior…named to the All Final Four Team in the state championship tournament as a junior…averaged 6.9 points, 3.5 assists and 0.8 steals per game as a sophomore…led Christian Brothers to a 17-12 overall record and into the semifinals of the state championship tournament as a sophomore…averaged 4.2 points and 2.5 assists in his first season at Christian Brothers in his sophomore season…a member of the basketball team at Starr’s Mill High School in Fayetteville, Ga., as a freshman.


Born August 25, 1997…Justin is the son of Kim and Greg Lindner…graduated from high school with a weighted 4.2 grade point average…a member of the National Honor Society throughout his high school career…has lived in six cities – Toledo, Ohio., Orlando, Fla., Maui, Hawaii, Fayetteville, Ga., Memphis, Tenn., and Tallahassee…was born in Toledo and calls Memphis home…enjoys juggling and singing in his spare time…a member of the M33M AAU Team from the 10th through the 12th grade…played for coaches Ernie Kuyper and Scott Robinson on the AAU circuit…selected Florida State over Rhodes College in Memphis, Christian Brothers University and Southeastern University to play basketball and chose Florida State over Florida and Tennessee for academics…major is Mathematics.
