The January 2018 transfer from Iowa State is prepared for his first season of cross country with the Noles…the one-time All-Big 12 runner joins teammate Istvan Szogi as the lone members of the squad who have competed at the NCAA Cross Country Championships…coming solid indoor and outdoor seasons with the Noles, is expected to be among the front-runners on the squad.




Indoor: Hit the ground running as a January arrival, competing in four meets…wasted no time establishing a new personal-best in the mile (4:07.85) at the David Hemery Valentine Invitational…ran the leadoff leg of FSU’s eighth-place DMR at the ACC Championships, which notched a 9:46.05; No. 6 in program history. Outdoor: Abbreviated campaign included new personal-bests in the 1500 and 5000…finished sixth in the 1500 at the Tiger Track Classic in 3:46.33…came back a week later to place 14th at the Bryan Clay Invitational 5000 in 14:17.85.



Was a three-year top five runner on the Iowa State cross country team, earning All-Big 12 honors for his seventh-place finish at the conference championship meet in 2015…was a member of the 2016 NCAA Cross Country Championships qualifying team…finished eighth in the 1500 as a freshman at the 2015 Big 12 Outdoor Championships…owns collegiate track PBs of 3:48. (1500), 4:08.05 (mile), 8:08.87 (3000) and 14:55.84 (5000)…ran three years of cross country for the Cyclones and two years each of indoor and outdoor track.


One of the top prep cross country runners in the Midwest…was runner-up at the Ohio State cross country championships as a senior at Newark High…qualified for 2013 Foot Locker National Championships where he finished 17th, following his fourth-place Midwest Region finish…posted high school track PBs of  1:58.82 (800m), 4:20.23 (1600m) and 9:30.20 (3200m)…majoring in business…the son of Jon and Nora Danhauer…born March 31, 1995.
