The junior transfer from Lipscomb University was a fixture in the Noles’ top five throughout the cross country season as FSU, helping FSU return to the NCAA Championships…was the 2017 ASUN Conference Freshman of the Year, earning first-team All-ASUN honors in cross country and on the track in 2017 and 2018…won Washington 2A state cross country and 3200m titles as a high school senior.
Cross Country: Competed in six meets…placed sixth overall in his FSU debut at the Virginia Tech Alumni Invitational, covering the 8k course in 24:55.6…was fifth on the team and 77th overall at the Joe Piane Notre Dame Invitational with a five-mile time of 24:30.29…turned in his strongest showing at the Under Armour Pre-Nationals, pacing a strong chase back at the No. 3 runner with a 59th-place finish in 24:30.5 as the Noles finished sixth…was FSU’s fourth finisher at the ACC Championships, placing 39th in 25:18.0…was No.5 runner for the Noles at the NCAA South Region meet at home, placing 35th in 31:26.1 over 10k…was the fourth finisher on the squad in his NCAA Championships debut. Indoor: Competed in three meets and established new personal-bests in both the 3000- and 5000-meter runs…opened with an 8:23.01 3000m at the Indiana Relays, paring 14 seconds off his previous best…followed up by running 14:07.93 to place 10th at the David Hemery Valentine Invitational; the No. 6 time in program history…doubled at the ACC Championships in those events, highlighted by an 11th-place finish in the 5000.
