Outdoor T&F: Placed seventh in the 3000m steeplechase (9:46.13) at the UNF Invitational…Finished fifth in the 3000 Steeplechase with a time of 9:37.71 at the Tom Jones Invitational… Finished 11th in the 3000 Steeplechase with a time of 9:34.57 at the Florida Relays… Finished sixth in the 3000m with a time of 8:58.30 at the Auburn Tiger Track Classic.

2020-21

Cross Country: Finished 17th overall at the Mountain Dew Invitational (25:55.34)…finished 35th overall at the FSU Invitational (25:21.6)…finished 57th overall at the UAB Blazer Classic with an 8k personal-best time (25:05.85)…competed at the ACC Championships (25:13.3) and finished 99th.

Outdoor T&F: Competed at the North Florida Invite in the 3000m steeplechase and took eighth with a time of 10:01.29.

2019-20

Cross Country: Competed unattached at the FSU Invitational, where he placed 20th in a field of 212 in an 8k time of 25:33.4.

Personal

A three-time letter winner at LSU, was the Tigers’ cross country MVP in 2018 and placed 46th at the SEC Championships…earned his undergraduate degree in sports commerce with minors in business and Spanish…exceptional student who was LSU track & field scholar-athlete of the year, on the Dean’s List for six semester and also on the Chancellor’s List (4.0 gpa) for a semester…was the SEC SAAC vice chair and also the NCAA representative for the conference…also selected to the All-SEC Community Service team…competed in a wide range of events on the track with notable PBs of 9:16.35 (3k steeplechase), 8:35.43 (3000) and 3:55.49 (1500)…enjoyed a stellar high school career in Princess Anne in Virginia Beach where he finished fifth at the 5A state cross country championships, second indoors in the 1000 and third outdoors in the 3200 as a senior…boasted high school PBs of 4:19.61 (1600) and 9:22.48 (3200)…first-year JD candidate at Florida State…the son of Kevin and Elisabeth Martingayle…born Oct. 3, 1997.
