Redshirt Sophomore Season (2018)

Appeared in 23 games as a redshirt sophomore, including seven starts…had five hits on the season, including a home run and added four RBI, five walks and five runs scored…started at DP on Feb 21 at South Alabama and had a single, was hit by a pitch & scored two runs…hit her first career home run on March 3 against Florida Golf Coast, driving in a pair of runs…lined a single and drew a walk against Hofstra on March 3…walked twice in two plate appearances at North Florida on March 10…drew a walk in a pinch-hit appearance against No. 19 Louisiana on April 4…drove in two runs on a pinch-hit single at Boston College on April 14…walked, singled and scored on the road at NC State on May 5.

Redshirt Freshman Season (2017)

Played in 16 games with eight starts as the designated player in her first season of collegiate softball…finished with four hits in 19 at bats, with a double, two RBIs and a run scored…she also walked four times and was hit by a pitch…started at designated player on opening day against Lipscomb and was hit by a pitch…drew a walk against Furman (Feb. 10) and Northwestern (Feb. 18)…had a pinch-hit single in game one of a doubleheader at Virginia Tech on March 10…went 1-for-3 with an RBI double in game two versus VT…closed out the series with the Hokies batting 2-for-3 as the Noles swept VT…pinch-hit and walked against Notre Dame on March 19…drove in a run with a sacrifice fly at Virginia (3/25)…drew a pinch-hit walk on March 26 at UVA.

Freshman Season (2016)

Redshirted her freshman season.

High School

Attended West Orange High School and broke the school’s home run record with nine round-trippers in 2013 as a sophomore on her way to earning second team All-State honors…as a junior in 2014, she batted .419 (31-for-74) with nine doubles, six home runs, 36 RBI and an on-base percentage of .495 for the Warriors…during her senior season, he hit .415 and finished second on the team with 26 runs scored as the Warriors reached the regional finals of the FHSAA 8A tournament…participated with the Windermere Wildfire 96 and was coached by her father Steve Stutsman, who was a tight end at Baylor from 1987-91…in 2011, the Wildfire were ASA Southern national champions of the 14U division and placed 33rd at the 16U ASA national tournament in both 2012 and 2013…in the 18U division in 2014, Stutsman and the Wildfire earned a 24th place finish at ASA Nationals…in 2015, the Wildfire earned the ASA 18U National Championship…a member of the National Honor Society and earned a spot on the West Orange AB Honor Roll each year of high school…was a member of the Student Government Association in both her junior and senior years…selected Florida State after being recruited by South Carolina, Tennessee and Florida Gulf Coast, among other schools.


Born January 20, 1997…has one brother…enjoys listening to Hip Hop music…aspires to be a physician’s assistant or an actress…favorite movie is The Little Mermaid…most looking forward to playing North Carolina this season…enjoys watching Friday Night Lights…enjoys hanging out at the pool or the beach with teammates…most memorable win was her 18U ASA National Championship…favorite home-cooked meal is steak with mashed potatoes and salad…her parents, Steve (football) and Susy (basketball) Stutsman both played while at Baylor.
