Took two victories in the Virginia series with just under 10.0 innings of work and conceding just one run in the standout victories (4/14-15)…Pitched the entirety of the second game of the doubleheader at Clemson, striking out five for the victory (4/6)…Started two games against Duke pitching 10.0 innings, striking out seven, and conceding just one earned run (3/24, 3/26)…Pitched a no hitter in the opening conference game against Syracuse on just 16 batters (3/17)…Clocked in 10.0 innings of work in Oklahoma (3/10, 3/12, 3/14)…Worked an entire game against Troy and allowed just one run on 27 batters (2/25)…Pitched a season-high eight strikeouts in 4.2 innings over Arizona (2/16)…Earned her first victory of the season by pitching all 7 innings with 60 strikes on 76 pitches against Lipscomb (2/9), closed the final two outs with two strikeouts against Longwood and pitched the entire game against Purdue with 9 strikeouts (2/11).

SENIOR (2022)

Appeared in 44 games with 25 starts during the 2022 season… led the team in appearances, starts, wins (30), innings pitched (194.1), earned runs allowed (40), walks (30), saves (3), complete games (8), opponent batting average (.189) and ERA (1.44)… Sandercock finished the season ranked 18th in the country in ERA and second in the country in wins… earned a win over Texas (2/18) after pitching 6.1 innings and allowed seven hits and two runs while striking out five batters… was a part of a combined no-hitter against UCF (2/20), she pitched four innings and struck out four batters while not allowing a single runner on base… earned the win over No. 2 UCLA (2/20) after entering the game in relief and pitching the final 3.1 innings, she allowed just one hit while striking out four Bruin batters… struck out a career-high 10 batters against Georgia Tech (3/13) in five innings of work while allowing only three hits… pitched a complete game against Florida (5/4) and allowed only two hits and one run as they Seminole swept the Gators for the first time since 2006… Earned all three wins for the Seminoles in the ACC Tournament as FSU won their 18th ACC Tournament.

JUNIOR (2021)

Appeared in 43 games with 26 starts during the 2021 season… led the team in appearances, starts, innings pitched (178.2), earned runs (32), walks (28), saves (2), opponent batting average (.191) and wins (27)… Sandercock finished the season ranked 16th in the NCAA and second in the ACC in ERA and fifth in the country in wins… pitched her first 10 career complete games…threw her first career complete game against Virginia Tech (2/20) when she allowed just three hits and one run with nine strikeouts… her second complete game came against Florida (3/6) in FSU’s 7-2 win over the Gators, she allowed just two runs and six hits against No. 5 Florida… in her next start she threw all seven innings against No. 2 Arizona (3/11) in FSU’s 4-2 win, she allowed seven hits and two runs…in 10.1 one innings of work against Arizona she allowed only two runs… her fourth complete game came at Boston College (3/26) she allowed just two hits and two runs… Sandercock had back-to-back complete games against Notre Dame (4/3) and Duke (4/9), she allowed just three hits and no runs combined in these two games… her seventh complete game came against NC State (5/13) in the first game of the ACC Tournament, she allowed two hits and no runs… Sandercock had three complete games in the NCAA Tournament, one in the Regional, one in the Super Regional and one in the World Series… against UCF (5/23) she had a one-hitter to advance to the Super Regional… she shut down LSU (5/27) in the first game of the Super Regional, allowing two hits and no runs in seven innings of work… in the WCWS, she pitched 31.1 innings, allowing 28 hits and nine earned runs with 22 strikeouts… she pitched a complete game against Oklahoma State, allowing five hits and no earned runs.

Sophomore (2020)

Shined in the circle as a sophomore during the shortened 2020 season due to the COVID-19 pandemic, leading the team with a 9-1 record with two saves and 60.2 innings pitched…finished with a 2.19 ERA and allowed 50 hits, 28 runs with 19 earned, along with 11 walks and 35 strikeouts, as opponents batted just .221 against her on the season…started against No. 1 Alabama on February 7 and allowed five runs, three earned, on four hits and one walk…retired all nine batters she faced in a win against Detroit Mercy on February 8…earned a win in relief versus Detroit Mercy (Feb 9)…tossed 2.0 innings, giving up a hit and an unearned run on February 12 against Florida A&M…did not allow a walk and tied a career high with five strikeouts in 4.1 innings against No. 13 Minnesota on February 14…retired 11 of the 12 batters she faced from the third to the sixth inning against No. 2 UCLA on February 16…posted a career-high six strikeouts in a win against Kent State on February 28…did not allow a run in 2.0 innings of relief to earn a save at No. 21 Arkansas on February 29…allowed just one hit in 6.0 innings on March 6 against Longwood…gave up two hits and one walk with four strikeouts in a win against Detroit Mercy on March 8.

Freshman (2019)

Excelled as a freshman for the Seminoles in 2019, appearing in 32 games as a pitcher with 11 starts…posted a 13-0 record with a 1.99 ERA, along with a save…allowed 33 runs on 88 hits through 91.1 innings with 49 strikeouts as opponents posted a .251 batting average against her…pitched 4.0 innings of relief on February 8 to earn the win over UNCW, allowing just one run on three hits…recorded a complete-game shutout against UNCG on February 9, giving up four hits and one walk with five strikeouts…allowed just one run on three hits in a 5.1 inning start against No. 3 Oklahoma on February 15…struck out four and allowed two runs on three hits in 3.0 innings against Minnesota on February 16…gave up just one earned run and posted four strikeouts without a walk on February 17 against Florida Atlantic…posted three strikeouts over 2.1 innings of scoreless relief on February 22 versus Elon…allowed one run on two hits over 4.0 innings at Grand Canyon on March 6…retired all six batters she faced as she closed out the game against Notre Dame on March 15…scattered five hits, allowed an unearned run and recorded four strikeouts against North Florida on March 20…gave up two runs on four hits in a 2.0-inning relief appearance against NC State on March 23…allowed just three hits and one run over 4.0 innings with two strikeouts in a victory at Virginia on March 30…pitched 2.0 scoreless innings at Louisville on April 6, allowing just one hit, with a walk and a strikeout…allowed just one run over 3.2 innings against No. 6 Florida on April 17…pitched a complete-game shutout against Boston College on April 21, posting four strikeouts…did not allow an earned run over 5.1 innings of relief in three appearances against Duke on April 26-28…gave up just one run and zero walks over three relief appearances on the road at Syracuse (May 3-5)…tossed the final 3.0 innings against USF, allowing just two hits and one run to pick up the victory…earned the win against No. 21 South Carolina in relief on May 19…allowed just one hit and one unearned run over four innings of relief against No. 13 Oklahoma State in game three of the NCAA Tallahassee Super Regional on May 25.

HIGH SCHOOL:

Attended Bishop O’Connell High School…named Virginia Gatorade Player of the Year as a junior in 2017…2017 Washington Catholic Athletic Conference (WCAC) Player of the Year…received All-State and Player of the Year honors her junior and senior year…was selected as the team’s most valuable player in her final two seasons…named to The Washington Post’s All-Met First Team as a junior and senior…received Second Team honors as a sophomore…honor roll recipient as a junior.

PERSONAL:

Majoring in Psychology… looks forward to playing at Virginia because it’s close to home…best part of being a student-athlete is the support…would like to play Penn State because her sister goes there…favorite movie is Dirty Dancing…favorite magazine is Vogue…Blackbear is her favorite singer…chocolate chip cookie dough is her favorite ice cream flavor…cannot live without chocolate…wants to be a sports psychologist…had to overcome hip surgery her senior year of high school…favorite TV show is Friends…a necklace her sister gave her is her favorite accessory…has one sister…grew up with two dogs…dad plays football and baseball…sister is a cheerleader.
