Steady and reliable, both at the plate and in the outfield, the senior closed out her career in the Garnet and Gold with her best offensive season…saw action in 59 games and made 55 starts as the Seminoles won their sixth consecutive ACC Championship and advanced to the NCAA Super Regionals for the seventh year in a row…along with Meghan King, Cali Harrod and Carsyn Gordon, she was a member of a senior class that posted a record of 223-40-1 in their careers, which trailed only Oklahoma for the most victories of any school in the nation from 2016-19…batted .333 (50-for-150) with seven doubles, three triples, four home runs, 31 RBI and 30 runs scored…she also added 19 walks, three stolen bases and committed just one defensive error in the outfield…started the season with a 13-game hitting streak…hit a single, stole a base and scored a run against UNC Wilmington on opening day (February 8)…went 2-for-2 with a single and a double vs. Iowa State (Feb. 8)…drove in two runs in FSU’s 8-0 victory over UNCG on February 9…hit a two-run triple as part of a nine-run first inning against UNCW on February 10…hit a double and scored a run against Ohio State on February 15…walked, hit a single and scored a run versus No. 8 LSU (February 16)…went 3-for-3 with a home run, two RBI and three runs scored versus Minnesota on February 16…drove in a season-high three RBI with a double, a home run and three runs scored against Florida Atlantic…had an RBI single against No. 6 Tennessee on February 17…scored two runs and drove in two RBI against Elon on February 22…went 2-for-3 with a double, an RBI and a run scored against Louisiana Tech (March 2)…singled and scored a run in a 9-3 win at UCF on March 4…tied a career high with three hits, including an RBI and a run scored at Grand Canyon on March 6…hit a pair of singles and scored two runs against Notre Dame on March 15…singled and scored versus Florida A&M (March 19)…drew two walks on March 23 against NC State…hit an RBI triple and added a walk on March 30 at Virginia…singled, drew a walk and stole a base at Louisville (April 6)…walked, scored two runs and hit a two-run triple at North Carolina on April 14…was 2-for-2 from the plate with a walk, a double and an RBI on April 19 against Boston College…hit a pair of singles against Duke (April 27) and added a stolen base…recorded a pinch-hit, two-run home run against Georgia Tech on May 9…singled, was hit by a pitch and scored a run in the ACC Championship game versus North Carolina on May 11…lined a single and scored a run versus Bethune-Cookman on May 17 in the NCAA Regionals…hit the first of four consecutive home runs on May 18 against USF, which set a school record, an NCAA Tournament record and tied the NCAA record…walked, singled and scored a run against No. 13 Oklahoma State on May 24 in the NCAA Tallahassee Super Regional.
Played in 66 games with 60 starts in the outfield as a junior as she helped the Seminoles with the 2018 NCAA National Championship…earned All-ACC First Team honors as she led the team with 23 hits in conference play and added five doubles, a triple, three home runs, 16 RBI and nine runs scored against ACC opponents…for the season, she tallied a .299 batting average (52-for-174) with 13 doubles, three triples, three home runs, 37 RBI, 17 runs scored and five stolen bases…hit a single, drove in an RBI and scored a run in the season-opener against Portland State (2/9)…had a pair of hits, including a double, and recorded an RBI versus Portland State on February 10…drove in three runs with a bases-clearing triple against Florida A&M on February 14…hit a double and drove in a run during the two games versus No. 14 Minnesota in the ACC/Big Ten Softball Challenge (February 16-17)…was 1-for-2 from the plate against Georgia State on February 24…walked and scored a run against Penn on March 8…hit a single in both games of a doubleheader against Troy on March 21 and had an RBI and a run scored…had a base hit and drove in the only run of the game on a sixth-inning sacrifice fly in FSU’s 1-0 win over Syracuse on March 23…tied a season high with two hits, including a double, on March 25 against Syracuse…drove in three RBI and hit her first home run of the season at Georgia Tech on March 30…was a perfect 3-for-3 from the plate on April 1 at Georgia Tech, adding a walk, a double and a run scored…tied a career high with three hits against Pitt on April 6…hit an RBI single against No. 6 Florida on April 11 and stole a base…had a pair of singles and drove in a run at BC on April 14…hit a solo home run against Louisville on April 21…recorded a double and a home run during the NC State series on May 4-6…hit an game-tying RBI triple and walked twice against Notre Dame in the ACC semifinals on May 11…walked and added a single versus Pitt in the ACC Championship Game on May 12…lined an RBI double on May 18 in the opening game of the NCAA Tallahassee Regional against Jacksonville State…batted 2-for-2 with a double, two walks and two RBI vs. Jacksonville State in the regional final on May 20…had a pair of hits, including a double in game two of the NCAA Super Regional against No. 11 LSU on May 26…batted 2-for-3 with three RBI in a WCWS elimination game against No. 7 Georgia on June 2…hit an RBI single on June 2 against No. 1 Oregon…had three hits, including an RBI double over both games against No. 3 UCLA on June 3 as the Seminoles advanced to the Women’s College World Series Championship Series for the first time in program history…doubled and scored the game-tying run as FSU came from behind to defeat No. 5 Washington on June 5 to win FSU’s first National Championship.
Saw action in 44 games with 30 starts – 12 in the outfield and 18 at designated player – helping the Seminoles reach the NCAA Super Regionals for the fifth season in a row…finished with a .232 batting average (19-for-82) with 12 runs scored, to doubles, two home runs, 17 RBI and 14 walks…hit a two-RBI single in the third against Lipscomb as part of a nine-run inning in the 13-1 win on Feb 10…drove in a run with a pinch-hit single against Marshall on Feb 12…walked and scored a run against Northwestern in the ACC/Big Ten Challenge on February 18…hit a home run in the top of the sixth inning against No. 14 Michigan on Feb. 26…had a two-RBI double at Florida Gulf Coast on March 15 and added a walk and a run scored…batted 2-for-3 with a double and two runs scored on March 24 at Virginia…drove in two runs and drew a walk at UVA (3/25)…had a single, a walk and a run scored on April 1 against Pitt…brought in a run with a sacrifice fly on April 9 at Syracuse…had one walk and one hit in each game of the doubleheader at Troy on April 18…tied the game with a two-run single in the top of the seventh at Louisville on April 23…drove in the game-winning run with an RBI single in the seventh on April 24 at Louisville…drew a pinch-hit walk against No. 25 Georgia on May 21.
Played in 64 games with 63 starts, 32 in left field and 31 at designated player, in helping the Noles reach the World Series and earn their third consecutive ACC Championship…batted .276 (48-for-174) with 13 doubles, one triple, five home runs, 43 RBI and 26 runs scored…added 20 walks, two stolen bases and six sacrifice flies…the six sacrifice flies tied for the fourth-most in the NCAA on the season…recorded 13 multi-hit games and had 11 games with multiple RBIs…walked and scored in her first career game at FIU on February 12…batted 2-for-3 with a career-high four RBI in a Noles victory over LIU Brooklyn on Feb. 13…had two hits and an RBI against No. 2 Michigan on February 20…hit two doubles and drove in both runs in FSU’s 2-0 victory over No. 20 Minnesota on February 21…batted 1-for-2 with a double, two RBI, and two runs scored against UAB on Feb. 27…achieved her first career triple on her only hit against Bradley on Feb. 27…batted 2-for-3 with two doubles and two RBI against UC Davis (Mar. 5)…went 3-for-4 with two RBI in a win against UNC on March 25…batted 2-for-3 with one double, two RBI and one run scored against NC State (April 10)…hit 2-for-4 with one run scored in a win against Boston College (April 16)…went 2-for-3 with two RBI and a double in a win against Boston College (April 17)…had an impressive doubleheader performance at No. 3 Auburn on April 20, going 2-for-4 with an RBI in game one and hitting a two-run home run in game two, helping give the Seminoles a 4-3 win over the Tigers…batted 2-for-4 with a home run and tied a career high with four RBI and two runs scored in a 15-5 win at Pitt on May 1…hit a solo home run against No. 20 Notre Dame in the ACC Championship Game on May 14…had a base hit and a walk in the final game of the NCAA Super Regional against Utah on May 28…recorded a walk against No. 14 UCLA on June 4…had a base hit against No. 5 Auburn in the WCWS semifinal game on June 5.
An outstanding athlete from Aquinas High School, setting the California Interscholastic Federation record with 247 hits in her career…batted .741 as a senior with 64 hits and 41 runs scored as she was named a MaxPreps First Team All-American…as a junior in 2014, she hit .644 with 10 doubles, four triples and 26 stolen bases as she earned CIF Player of the Year honors for Division 4…she was also named to the All-League First Team and was the Ambassador League Player of the Year…earned First Team All-America honors from MaxPreps in 2013 and was the CIF Division 5 Player of the Year in 2013 as Aquinas High School won the CIF Southern Section Division 5 Championship…she was also a member of the Corona Angels and won 12U ASA/USA State and National Championships in 2008…the Angels were finalists at the 14U (2011), 16U (2012) and 18U (2014) PGF National Championships and won three straight ASA Champions Cups from 2012 to 2014.
Born December 22, 1996…has one sister, one half-brother, two step-sisters, and two step-brothers…aspires to be a sports medicine doctor…favorite home-cooked meal is tacos, beans and sopa…cannot live without her family and friends…favorite school subject is math…looking forward to playing Notre Dame because the members of her family are huge Fighting Irish fans…says having the opportunity to play against high competition and get a great education is the best part of being an ACC student-athlete…enjoys wearing dark clothes because she loves to wear black…her uncle is Dan Caldwell, co-owner and president of Tapout.
