Muffley’s 16 hit by pitches in 2021 rank as the fourth most in a single season in FSU history… her 21 HBPs in two seasons in Tallahassee rank as the sixth most in a career at FSU. She is one shy of moving into a tie fifth place and seven shy of moving into a tie for fourth.

REDSHIRT SOPHOMORE SEASON – AT FSU (2021)

Started all 63 games during the 2021 season at shortstop… finished the season with a .199 batting average (27-for-136) with four doubles and one home run leading to 18 RBI… Muffley led the Seminoles with 16 hit by pitches and eight sacrifice hits, she was also 10-for-12 in stolen bases… she finished the season with a .921 fielding percentage with 63 putouts and 89 assists in the field… during the second game of the season against Missouri (2/12) she went 2-for-3 with three runs scored… at Georgia Tech (2/19) she went 2-for-2 with an RBI and three stolen bases… at home against Florida ( 3/6) she recorded three RBI on one hit as the Seminoles defeated the Gators 7-2… at Auburn (3/20) she went a perfect 1-for-1 with two hit by pitches, two runs scored and two RBI… earned her only home run of the season and fifth of her career at Syracuse (4/17)… went 2-for-3 with one RBI in FSU’s 2-0 win over Alabama in the WCWS (6/6)… scored two runs against Oklahoma in game one of the championship series of the WCWS (6/8)

Sophomore Season - at FSU (2020)

Played in 23 games, including 22 starts at shortstop, during the 2020 season that was shortened due to the COVID-19 pandemic, finishing with a .204 batting average (11-for-54) and four doubles, two home runs, 10 RBI, six walks and 12 runs scored…led the team with five hit-by-pitches and also added two stolen bases…scored a run in each game on Opening Day in wins over North Carolina and No. 1 Alabama…walked and scored two runs on February 8 against Detroit Mercy…hit a solo home run against No. 1 Alabama on February 8…lined a double and scored a run versus Detroit Mercy on February 9…drew two walks in a win against Florida A&M on Feb 12…hit a double on February 14 against No. 1 Washington…walked and scored a run versus No. 13 Minnesota (Feb 14)…drew a walk, singled and stole a base versus Liberty on February 16…hit a single and drew a walk against No. 2 UCLA (Feb 16)…lined a two-run double against No. 19 Baylor (Feb 29)…went 2-for-4 with two RBI and a solo home run on March 4 at No. 22 UCF…drove in two runs and stole a base against Longwood on March 6…was hit by two pitches, singled and scored two runs versus Detroit Mercy (March 8).

Freshman Season at Tulsa (2019)

Appeared in 40 games with 36 starts at shortstop for the Golden Hurricane…posted a .327 batting average (36-for-110) with eight doubles, two home runs, 18 RBI and 31 runs scored…finished third on the team with 11 multi-hit games and was sixth with five multi-RBI games…tallied a 10-game hitting streak from February 22 to March 10, which marked the longest streak on the team…went 2-for-3 with two RBI and two runs scored on February 16 at South Alabama…had a double on two hits, a run scored and three RBI against North Dakota (Feb 17)…had a hit in each game on the road at No. 11 Texas on February 22 and 23…finished off the Texas Invitational batting a combined 5-for-8 with two RBI and two runs scored in a pair of games against Sam Houston State (Feb 23-24)…had an outstanding day at the plate on March 2 against Syracuse, hitting 2-for-2 with a pair of doubles, two walks, two RBI and three runs scored…had a season-high four hits against Grand Canyon on March 8, ending with a double, a stolen base, a run scored and an RBI…was 3-for-4 against Nebraska and added a double, a home run and three RBI…hit a pair of singles, was hit by two pitches and scored two runs on the road at USF on March 23…scored twice and had a pair of singles against Memphis on March 30…posted a pair of hits, including a double on April 14 at ECU.

High School/Club

Attended Central High School in Portage, Michigan…earned three All-Conference honors in high school…batted .463 as a sophomore with 12 doubles and a pair of triples…topped the team with a .493 batting average as a junior with 35 runs scored, 14 RBI and 22 walks…played hockey and baseball growing up and has battled through breaking her ankle and multiple bones in her back to compete at the highest level.
