Senior Season (2012)

Capped a fabulous career with another stellar season in 2012 … led the Seminoles with a .304 batting average and five triples … finished the season with 58 base hits, 37 runs scored and five doubles … drew 26 walks after having single-digit base-on-balls in her first three seasons … named one of 30 softball candidates nationwide for the Lowe’s Senior CLASS Award prior to the start of the season … NFCA All-Southeast Region Team member … Bank of Hawaii All-Tournament Team … once again struck out at a microscopic rate, fanning just 12 times in 221 plate appearances … 14th nationally in triples and 27th in triples per game … tied for 14th in the conference in batting average … first in the ACC in triples … fifth in the conference in base hits … ninth in runs scored … recorded 14 multiple-hit games … held a 14-game hitting streak, the longest by a Seminole in 2012 … reached base in 14 consecutive games … finishes her career ninth all-time at FSU with 29 doubles and 10th all-time with 243 base hits … other career numbers include an impressive .324 batting average, 129 runs scored, 14 triples and only 49 strikeouts … batted above .300 in all four seasons played … batted in the No. 2 spot in all 62 games played, joining Tiffani Brown as the only Seminoles to bat in the same spot of the order in 2012 … delivered two three-hit performances, including one in the season opener against Stephen F. Austin when she hit a walk-off single … went 3-for-3 in game one of a doubleheader against Florida Gulf Coast on March 29 … recorded triples against Stephen F. Austin, UCF, N.C. State, Florida Gulf Coast and South Alabama … had two RBIs in games against N.C. State (March 11), Florida Gulf Coast and Maryland (May 5 – game one) … struck out just once in her last 18 games played … had four games in which she drew multiple walks, which never happened prior to the start of the season … career-high three base-on-balls on Feb. 11 versus Tennessee Tech.

Junior Season (2011)

Enjoyed another tremendous season, finishing third on the team with a .337 batting average … led the Seminoles with 15 doubles and 93 total bases … her four triples were tied for second in the ACC behind teammate Tiffani Brown … finished second in the conference in doubles … was the 18th toughest player to strike out in the nation, fanning just once every 22.1 at-bats … struck out just nine times in 2011 … lone returnee on 2012 squad who was named to the 2011 All-ACC Team … had a memorable doubleheader at Boston College on April 16, going 7-for-8 with eight RBIs that included a grand slam and a double … earned All-ACC Player of the Week honors on April 19 after a career week that saw her go 15-for-23 (.652) with one home run, 13 RBIs, four doubles and five runs scored in six games … in game one against Boston College, she finished 4-for-4 with five RBIs and a double … led FSU with 21 multiple-hit performances … tied for second on the team with eight multiple RBI games … held a seven-game hitting streak from April 10-16 … posted five three-hit performances against Georgia Southern, Florida A&M, North Florida, Boston College and Georgia State … delivered a walk-off RBI double on April 12 to defeat Mercer, 5-4.

Sophomore Season (2010)

One of just four players to start all 62 games of the season … finished second on the team with a .338 batting average – a mark that was also good enough for sixth in the ACC … finished sixth in the conference with 39 runs scored … led the team with 213 at-bats and had a team second-best 72 hits … registered five doubles, five triples and one inside-the-park home run … walked nine times and struck out just 15 times … did not commit an error all year.

Freshman Season (2009)

Started all 43 games she appeared in … posted a .315 batting average … ended the season with an impressive .905 fielding percentage … committed just two errors … in her 146 at-bats had 46 hits, including four doubles and a home run … stole eight bases … had least amount of strikeouts of anyone that started at least 40 games.

High School

Named Miami Herald Player of the Year as a senior … offensive player of the year as a senior … BCAA Scholar Athlete in her senior year … as a freshman was named to the third team all-county and second team all-state … named to the first team all-county and all-state teams as a senior … named to the Louisville Slugger/NFCA High School All-Region Team as a junior … named offensive MVP as a junior … first team all-county and all-state teams as a junior … awarded the Jaguar Award as a freshman … was on the Honor Roll all four years of high school … Scholar Athlete as a senior … graduated with Silver Chord (250+ hours of Community Service) … graduated with Gold Chord (3.7 GPA or Higher all four years) … played for the Gold Coast Hurricanes “Gold” team under coach Marty Cooper and Jeff Norman … placed third at ASA Gold Nationals in 2007 … ASA Gold National Champions in 2008.


Born Nov. 27, 1989 … majoring in criminology … daughter of Walter and Pamela Jackson … has one brother … favorite ice cream flavor is cake batter… plays the keyboard … watches the Disney channel … something that not many people know about her is that her closet is color coordinated … advice she would give someone getting ready to start college is to “stay focused and remember what you’re in college for”… most memorable moment was defeating UNC in the ACC Championship Game.
