Junior Season (2018)

Made five appearances in the circle as a junior and recorded a 0-0 record and a 3.94 ERA in 5.1 innings with five strikeouts…tied a career-high with 2.0 innings pitched in her first appearance of the year, giving up an unearned run and one hit with two strikeouts against Portland State on February 10…struck out three batters and gave up one walk in her 1.0 innings of work at South Alabama on February 21…pitched 0.2 innings at No. 10 Alabama on February 23, allowing just one hit…gave up two hits, a walk and a run in 0.2 innings against No. 6 Oregon on March 2…earned the 2018 NCAA Elite 90 Award for having the highest cumulative GPA among all players competing at the 2018 Women’s College World Series.

Sophomore Season (2017)

Pitched in four games as a sophomore, helping combine for two shutouts on the season as the Noles advanced to the NCAA Super Regionals for the fifth year in a row…finished with a 0-0 record, a 4.85 ERA, giving up three hits, four runs, three earned with six walks and four strikeouts over 4.1 innings…pitched the final inning against Marshall on February 12, retiring all three batters she faced and recording a strikeout…matched that performance against Nebraska on February 18, striking out one in a perfect 1.0 innings to close out the game…did not give up an earned run in 2.0 innings at Florida Gulf Coast, recording two strikeouts.

Freshman Season (2016)

Appeared in 11 total games as a freshman, nine as a pitcher and two others at first base…was perfect offensively in two plate appearances on the season, batting 1-for-1 with a walk, a double, two RBI and one run scored…in the circle, she pitched 10.0 innings of relief and posted a 0-0 record with a 3.50 ERA…gave up 10 runs, five earned, on 14 hits with three walks and four strikeouts…tossed 2.0 shutout innings in her first career pitching appearance against LIU Brooklyn on Feb. 13…she also drew a bases-loaded walk to drive in a run against the Blackbirds…hit an RBI double and scored a run against Valparaiso (2/14), and also entered the circle and allowed zero earned runs in 2.0 innings to close out the game…gave up one run and two hits in 1.0 IP vs. No. 2 Michigan on February 19…retired all three batters she faced to close out the game against No. 2 Michigan (2/20)…pitched 0.2 scoreless innings against Bradley on February 26…needed only three total pitches to retire both batters she faced to close out a 10-0 win over UAB on February 28…did not allow a base runner in her 1.0 innings at Cal State Northridge on March 5…pitched 0.2 innings, giving up two runs on two hits against ACC-opponent NC State on April 10.

High School

A four-year starter for Buford High School, winning state championships in all four seasons…the Wolves were GHSA AA Champions in 2011 and 2012, AAA Champions in 2013 and AAAA Champions in 2014…she was named to the GHSA All-State First Team each season of high school…as a junior in 2013, Daniels batted .465 (53-for-114) with four home runs and 44 RBI while posting an 8-0 record along with a 2.52 ERA and 36 strikeouts in the circle…competed with the East Cobb Bullets, GA Impact and Atlanta Vipers…earned a spot on the Hot 100 list for the Class of 2015…won the 14U PGF National Championship, tossing three victories in the circle and hitting three homeruns and driving in 13 RBI in the tournament as the Vipers were named 14U Softball Team of the Year…earned Buford’s Academic Excellence Award each year in high school and was named Buford’s softball Scholar-Athlete for 2014-15…also earned a Technology Student Award in 2013 and won the school’s Science Fair in the spring of 2014.


Born on January 31, 1997…has one sister, Briana…favorite movie is Forrest Gump…looking forward to playing Georgia Tech because it is near where she grew up…favorite ice cream is Oreo McFlurry with extra, extra Oreos…cannot live without the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ…aspires to be a high school literature teacher and FCA sponsor…enjoys watching the Food Network as well as The Walking Dead and The Office…most gratifying community service was doing missionary work in the Dominican Republic…a routine she has while pitching is to verbally say, “thank you” before each pitch…favorite home-cooked food is her mom’s bacon cheeseburgers and her dad’s milkshakes…had many pets growing up including fish, turtles, hamsters, mice, bearded dragons, hermit crabs, rabbits, cats and dogs.
