Earned a second swim in the 100 free and placed 28th at 44.94 after swimming a personal best in prelims at 44.68 at the GT Invite…was also 30th in the 50 free (20.65) and competed on relays.


Finished 14th in the 100 free at the Auburn Invite with a time of 45.15 after posting his personal best in prelims at 44.93…was 17th in the 50 free (20.67) and 15th in the 200 free (1:39.28) after a personal best in prelims at 1:39.17… finished 15th in the 50 free at the GT Invite after he swam his best time in prelims at 20.32…also finished 19th in the 200 free (1:40.51) and 29th in the 100 free (45.96)…was selected as the Hardest Worker at the end of the year awards banquet…was voted to be a team captain for his senior season.


Competed in the 50 free (20.86) 100 fly (50.59) 200 free (1:40.44) at the UGA Invite…posted his best time in the 100 free (45.09).


Swam his season best times at the Last Chance Bulldog invite in the 100 fly (49.88) before posting a career best in the 100 free at 45.38…secured his personal best in the 50 free (20.62) at the Georgia Invite.

High School:

The 2014 MHSAA DII Swimmer of the Year…an All-American in the 100 fly and the 200 free…an NCSA finalist in the 100 and 50 free in 2014 and is a two-time state champion in the 100 fly in 2012 and 2013… also earned all-state honors in the 200 IM and 100 fly as a rookie…a member of the Lakeview Aquatic Club where he is coached by Julie Youngquist.


Born Sept. 3, 1996…son of Bill and Mary Vann…is a two-year Scholastic All-American at Lakeview High School where he is also on the honor roll…a member of National Honors Society and Student Government…sister Ellen swam  Florida Gulf Coast and his sister Kate and brother Bill were former Michigan State triathletes.
