Won his first individual ACC title in the 200 fly in ACC and FSU record setting time of 1:41.66…grabbed silver in the 100 fly and added 11th place points in the 50 free after swimming a career best in prelims at ACC’s…contributed on four relays at ACC’s…placed third in the 200 fly at the Georgia Invite and won the race at the Georgia Tech invite with a time of 1:44.70…earned an ACC Swimmer of the Week honor after he won six events against Florida Southern.


Placed ninth in the 200 fly at the 2014 NCAA Championships with a career best of 1:42.35 en route to lowering his school record that was established at ACCs in the race…swam the fly leg of the 200 medley relay that placed fourth at the NCAA Championships which was the highest relay finish in school history…also helped FSU place sixth in the 400 medley relay…took bronze in the 100 fly with a career best time of 45.83 at the ACC Championships…was fourth in the 200 fly after breaking Stephen Parry’s school record in prelims (1:43.69) with a 1:42.59…also scored points in the 200 IM…won gold in the 400 medley relay that set a new school and ACC record…helped FSU take silver in the 200 medley relay…earned ACC Swimmer of the Week twice during the season…was given the Breakthrough Award and Hammer Award at the end of the year banquet.

2012-2013 :

Placed fifth in the 100 fly at the ACC Championships after swimming a career best of 47.06 in prelims…took ninth in the 200 fly at ACC’s with a career best of 1:44.81..swam the fly leg in the 400 medley relay that took bronze at ACC’s.


Earned a second swim at the 2012 ACC Championships in the 200 fly with a 22nd place finish with a time of 1:51.74…placed 17th in the 100 fly at the Georgia Tech Invite with a time of 50.41.

High School:

Knight joins the Seminoles as a 2012 Olympic Trial qualifier in the 200m fly (2:03.95) which he achieved at the 2011 ConocoPhillips National Championships…was in the top 5 at the FSAA in the 100 fly…swims for the North Palm Beach Swim Club under coach Alf Aguirre, where he was the first swimmer to post an Olympic Trial mark since 1996.


Born May 27, 1993…first name is David but goes by Connor…son of David and Tillie Knight…graduated from William T. Dwyer High School where he was on the A/B Honor Roll from 2007-2011…plans to major in Professional Sales.
