Qualified for the NCAA Championships in the 200 back where he swam a time of 1:41.98…also competed in the 50 free (20.13), 100 back (46.65) and swam on the 800 free relay (6:19.14)…placed fourth in the 200 back (1:41.29), 11th in the 50 free (19.62) and tied for 12th in the 100 back (46.49) at the ACC Championships… placed fourth in the 100 back (50.23) before winning the 200 back (1:48.39) against Alabama…won the 100 free against UIW with a time of 45.63…finished fourth in the 200 back (1:43.57) at the GT Invite…was also 22nd in the 50 free (20.21) and 14th in the 200 free (1:37.78)…also competed on relays including the top 800 free relay where he split a time of 1:39.04…won the Most Improved award at the end of the year awards banquet.
Placed 18th in the 200 back at the ACC Championships with a time of 1:43.58…won the 200 back at the Auburn Invite with a time of 1:43.37…also finished second in the 400 IM behind a personal best swim at 3:49.67 and added a seventh place finish in the 500 free (4:26.31)…was awarded ACC Swimmer of the Week after his performance…placed fourth in the 200 back (1:44.65) seventh in both the 500 free (4:27.26) and 400 IM (3:54.29) at the GT Invite…also placed 15th in the 200 free at 1:39.58…named to the All-ACC Academic Team and a member of the ACC Honor Roll.
Posted all career best times at the UF Last Chance Invite…placed fourth in the 500 free (4.22.71) tying the top time for the Noles…finished second in the 400 IM (3:49.90) and 200 back (1:43.17)… finished 18th in the C final of the men’s 200 back with a career best time of 1:45.86 at the UGA Fall Invite…added a 22nd place finish in the 500 free…won the 400 IM against Florida Southern (4:01.00) and was second in the 100 fly (50.81)…was third in the 1000 free against Florida (9:26.19)…member of the ACC Honor Roll
High School: A four-time MPSSAA state champion…a winter All-Met Team in 2013-14 and 2014-15 and was a 2015 All-Gazette First Team member…a 2016 US Olympic Trial qualifier in the 200 back.
Personal: A USA Swimming Scholastic All-American and a PVS Scholar Athlete, while earning a spot on the honor roll each of his first three years at Rockville High School
