High School

A two-time FHSAA 4A state champion, DiMatteo won the 50 free (20.42) and 100 free (44.45) at the 2017 meet. For his efforts DiMatteo was selected as the Palm Beach Boys Swimmer of the Year. He also competed at the 2017 USA Swimming Futures Championships in Tennessee and placed fourth in the 50m free (23.92) and sixth in the 100m free (52.79).
