Took 14th in the 100 free (44.47) at the GT Invite…won the B final of the 100 fly behind a personal best of 47.13 and was also 20th in the 200 free (1:41.38) after posting a time of 1:37.61 in prelims…also anchored the 800 free relay with a time of 1:37.09.


Finished 23rd in the 100 fly at the ACC Championships with a personal best swim of 47.45…swam the third leg of the 800 free relay that set the school record… placed 22nd in the 50 free (20.40) eighth in the 100 fly (48.43) at the GT Invite…was 10th in the 200 free after swimming a personal best of 1:38.76 in prelims…also tied for 13th in the 100 free (44.39)…represented Slovakia at the 2017 European Championships where he turned in personal best swims in the 100m fly (52.71) and 200m free (1:48.18)…member of the ACC Honor Roll


Arrived in January and made his debut in the win against Pittsburgh…competed at the ACC Championships and placed 23rd in the 100 fly with a time of 47.88…also contributed 20th place points in the 100 free at 43.85…placed 11th in the 50 free at the Nike Cup (21.03) 10th in the 100 fly (48.94) and 20th in the 200 free (1:43.42).


A member of the Slovakian National Team…competed at the 2015 FINA Junior World Championships in the 50m free, 50m fly, 100m free and 100m fly races…three-time junior national record holder…participated at the 2016 FINA World Championships in Windsor, Canada…was a semifinalist at the 2016 European Juniors and 2015 European Games in Baku in 2015…was recognized as the best junior swimmer in Slovakia in 2015.


Born Jan. 8, 1998…son of Vladimir and Ingrid Stefanik…swam for KPS Nereus Zilina where he was coached by Juraj Skopal.
